We were referred to Steve Kilburn for a family OVI charge. We were out of state and did not know what to expect. Steve immediately put us at ease and handled the situation. He was able to negotiate a reduction in charges for us and kept our family member from jail time. We could not have asked for a more caring and professional attorney. I dont wish to go into depth about my case, but I was arrested for a misdemeanor 1 and Steve was able to get it dropped down to a misdemeanor 4. By doing so he helped me have a leg to stand on in my divorce case. The judge entered my plea incorrectly and it showed up on my record as a misdemeanor 4. I contacted Steve again and he quickly filed the appropriate paperwork to have it corrected.

I had been charged with an OVI in January and for me it was a critical charge because I would have been facing my 3rd if I were to be convicted. In this case Steve was very diligent with the video recordings and reports in which the charge itself was drastically dropped. During the whole entire process from start to finish, Steve went through all the facts and testimonies. I recently got arrested and charged for an OVI on June 19th 2015. It was the first time in my life I had ever got in trouble and didn't know what to do or who to talk to. Steve was able to get my traffic ticket dismissed by a very cleaver method. Afterward he told me the prosecutor would probably be mad at him. It's a shame that defense lawyers have to be concerned about the reaction of the prosecutor on how it might affect any current or future cases. I must commend Steve though for putting the best defense forward and doing the best for me without regard for how the prosecutor may feel. To me, that shows a lot of integrity on his part. I would highly recommend Steve.

Steve represented me recently in an OVI case. I had met with a crash and had a high BAC level. When I met him in the court, firstly he helped me calm down, and informed me that he had already spoken with the Judge & the Prosecutor about my case. He was professional and very well prepared for the case. He is very knowledgeable about the laws that govern OVIs, and did not let me feel he has been practicing for less than 2 years. One more thing I really liked was that he stayed with me, even after the case was over, to help with my court paperwork. All in all, a good lawyer for OVI cases.

I recently hired Steve Kilburn to represent me in an OVI charge. He was able to to get the charges reduced and ultimately lowered the sentencing to where I didn't have to spend time in jail, OR lose my drivers license. He was prompt in returning phone calls and keeping me informed and up to date with courts dates etc.. He was also able to work with me amazingly on payment arrangements for his retainer.
