If there is a time in your life that you find yourself in a difficult legal situation and need the “very best” lawyer, you can depend on the Rittgers & Rittgers team! Throughout my entire life, I have never been in trouble with the law that landed me in jail or with a conviction on my criminal record. However, in 2016 all that changed because I was “falsely-accused” by angry, jealous and wicked family members. These “false-accusations” resulted with me being stereotyped and targeted by our “biased” Ohio justice system that “can and will” deviously-entrap, indict and arrest you on “hear-say”! I owe my freedom and this “cherished” opportunity to get my family’s life back on-track to the “superior-defense” legal team at Rittgers & Rittgers. Thank God that I immediately found and hired the “best” criminal defense lawyers in Ohio to defend me! I would like to personally thank, Steve Kilburn and his staff for all their efforts in the early stages of my 15-month long nightmare. After being pursued by a dis-honest detective, indicted by the grand jury and spending 7-nights in jail, Steve was able to convince the arraignment court magistrate to release me on a “reasonable” bond and limited restrictions. He then continued to support my case while handing-off the primary defense effort to (Charlie) Charles M. Rittgers as we prepared for trial. Charlie is one of the “best, young, smart and aggressive” top-rated criminal trial lawyers in the USA, so he took the lead on my defense. He is very confident, honest and straight-shoots with his clients. His personality and demeanor shows that he still has that “winning” discipline that he developed as a “winning” quarterback in football. Just like he did in his successful high school and college football days, he ran the option-play on offense and worked diligently to expose the accuser’s inconsistencies and lack-of-credibility. It was obvious from the time of my indictment and arrest that the prosecution seemed to have a concern about the “potential” weakness in their “no physical-evidence” case. Regardless, the prosecution was still being persistent about my pleading guilty to their original “un-acceptable” plea deal offer or face the risk of going to a judge or jury trial. Charlie and the Rittgers team of expert opinions know very well of the risk in today’s “wicked” world of having a “politically-correct-sympathetic” jury, if we did go to trial. Because of both party’s concern of potentially losing in a trial and especially our fear of being "unjustly" incarcerated and facing other serious consequences, Charlie was able to persuade the prosecution to reduce the primary charge and dismiss the secondary charge completely in a new plea deal. This “agreeable” plea deal wasn’t as good as an acquittal, but it was acceptable and it guaranteed my freedom with no-jail time, probation only with reasonable restrictions and monetary fines. Charlie is also a very caring person and compassionate toward his clients. Knowing that I lost my job and that I am still presently unemployed, he was “kindhearted” enough to reimburse me some of my fees because we didn’t go to trial. Most attorneys are considered greedy and they would have never done that! Charlie, my family thanks you again from the bottom of our hearts for this “unselfish” act because we really needed the extra money while I pursue my next career opportunity. Charlie, Steve and all the ladies on their support staff are the best in the business! They “all” are very professional, kind and compassionate toward their clients. They all respond promptly, communicate very well and understand the stress and pressure that their clients are going through during this very difficult time in their life.
