Scott Sylkatis is truly a genuine guy. He was very hard working for the entire duration of my child custody/divorce case. He truly cares about his clients and their families and works his hardest towards your wants/needs. He is very knowledgeable in law, extremely detail oriented, kept me well informed, and answered any questions that I may have had quickly(whether it be through direct phone calls, texts, or emails). I never felt as if I was “left in the dark” during this case. He made sure to explain every detail of the process to me. I truly trust him as an attorney and would recommend him highly to others. He isn’t one to play games and nickel and dime you at every turn but; to the contrary, tries his best to save you money. He has a fair price and always worked through payments with me. I highly recommend hiring Scott Sykatis. He helped me through both a rather difficult and tulmotrious divorce and child custody agreement. He was supportive and understanding of my situation and has always been quick to answer all of my emails and phone calls. I hired Scott over what looked to be a relatively straight forward custody case that blew up because an issue by Mom. Scott used up 10K dollars quickly, despite his seemingly reasonable fees. I followed his advice to a T. He advised me to give him some documents, and assured me it was legal... IT WAS NOT! When he got called out on it, he threw me under the bus, shifting blame to me in order to remove himself from the case and from the situation. In my opinion that showed no respect for the oath of attorney client privilege. Addendum: RE: Response from Owner, Scotty Sylkatis: Nothing was ever held against me because of the mistake that was made, I retained another attorney and won my case. Buyer beware.

In a business where logic, emotion and Law intercede you will want Scott on your side. You will need Scott on your side. I lived on the West Coast when I contacted Scott. There were several oversights in my current divorce and Scott quickly developed a plan to make several corrections. In the process I moved to East Coast and never missed a single detail. Scott is an excellent communicator, enthusiastic advocate for parents rights, and has an astounding work ethic. He researched all legal options available when needed, he researched common sense solutions and applied fair logic to each circumstance.
