Working with Kristin was one of the absolute worst decisions I could have made with my dissolution. After she was retained, I never once heard from her or spoke to her directly. She showed up late to the court hearing which thankfully wasn't held against me. She made me feel very sure about the decisions we had made in terms of our paperwork agreement when in reality she fully lead me in the wrong direction and then had proceeded to blame me for not asking her enough questions. I would strongly advise anyone seeking to work with Kristin to go elsewhere. She is nearly impossible to get a hold of and is incredibly condescending and unprofessional at best.

My husband and I were seeking Grandparent Visitation and we were referred to Kristin Brown as an excellent Family Trial Attorney. I must explain that we had little hope of seeing our grandchild but we moved forward on the premise that we are excellent grandparents and that we had an excellent Family Law Attorney. We found Kristin Brown and her entire staff: kind, compassionate, honest and exceptionally knowledgeable of Family Law. Due to our lack of understanding of Family Law, my husband and I had many questions and concerns and Kristin and her staff were patient with us and answered all our questions through the entire process. As a Family Law Trial Attorney, Kristin truly outshined other attorneys in the court room! I know the outcome of our trial would have been very different if someone else other than Kristin had been our attorney! Her professionalism and ability to take the lead in a court room setting is unequaled! Thank you so much Kritsin Brown and staff for an excellent job! Absolute worst choice we could have made for representation in a divorce/custody case. Very “cookie cutter” in her approach as though it was just another divorce to her . Lacked communication, did not appear to know what was happening in the case most of the time. Her personal demeanor was condescending at best. For the sensitive, vulnerable situation of family law it was my personal experience that she lacked the compassion required to navigate one through the process. Her procedural knowledge of family law appeared questionable. This is not a disgruntled review due to a poor outcome in the end, we realized only two weeks in that this lawyer was not equipped t for what we needed. There are lots of other choices for family law in Mansfield, I would choose ANY of them over Kristin Brown and or maybe represent yourself. DO NOT RECOMMEND .

Kristin has always been so amazing to not only me, but my family as well. She was truthful and honest, and kept us informed the whole way through the process. I am so lucky to have found her and her staff! She gives people hope that life can and will get better. I'm so lucky to have found her!

They were always nice, but so hard to get ahold of. Somehow managed to burn through the whole retainer even though we never went to trial. We came to an agreement prior. The portal and messaging system was always horrible, I had an emergency come up with the case and couldn’t get ahold of any one about it they kept referring me to a app on my phone which was of no help. Like i said. They were very nice. And I was referred to them as being great. But I had a much different experience. I’d rather have a mediocre lawyer who has decent communication.
