Fantastic service, very responsive, and he figured everything out for me. He's always there to help and overall had a great experience with him and still currently go through him.. I have been a client for him for about a year and we went through a child custody case and just finished it off. It was a long battle but he definitely got me through with all that I could out of it. I'm just moving forward in life now with his help with my daughter in my life now.. It was a out of state custody battle. I currently have visitations with full communication. I would definitely recommend him again

John is one of the best lawyers in town. A former Richland County Prosecutor, who knows the entire breadth of the law. He dealt with the bankruptcy of my husband who died in a fire on 18-December-2020 (in the photo of our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2019... he is the one in the left with the grey hair) at 99 Dawson Avenue...in May of 2014 and did an excellent job. When my husband died, besides losing him, my service dog, and her “little sister”...the household income was suddenly cut in half. With two incomes we were able to cover all our bills. But our joint bills with COVID-19 #Bidenflation, after his death...I could not afford to cover all the bills even living in a HUD Section 8 apartment. Two of my creditors “charged off” the debt, but one CareCredit which had my husband’s hearing aids and my Sercice Dog that passed away from Cancer in 2017’s surgical bills...they filed a lawsuit against me on 01-June-2022 and I signed my bankruptcy petition on 23-June-2022. They pushed, and thanks to President Biden’s Economic Impact Payment, right after my husband died, I had the funds for a bankruptcy. John’s costs for legal and filing fees (the total “out the door” cost has not increased a penny since Daniel filed in May 2014, 8 years ago). He had the paperwork done well with no issues (my service dog in training, Chana...in the other photo at my urologist for a cancer follow-up appointment, looking for someone to check us in since we were the first appointment of the day and nobody was at the counter...personally inspected the paperwork and approved as both I signed the paperwork and John signed in June). No hiccups, and all went smoothly, just as Daniel’s bankruptcy did in 2014. I could not recommend a Richland County Lawyer any higher than I do with John Austin Boyd, Esquire. If I ever need any legal representation again, John would always be my first choice. Google only allows me to rate him “5 Stars”, and I think that is way too low of a number. He is that good.

Recently I was in the need of an attorney. I knew immediately there was only one person I wanted to represent me. Attorney John Boyd. In our area of the state there are many attorneys, all with various skill sets. Attorney Boyd is in the very top, best percentage of this group. His strengths are numerous but some of the ones you will appreciate the most include his intelligence, honesty, charisma and eloquence. By eloquence I don't mean twisting words. I mean his ability to present the truth in a very relatible way. There's a reason why all of our judges respect him and he has a good relationship and report with them. That's because they know that they can trust him. He is the attorney you want. Period. Attorney Boyd is strong and honorable. He likes people and understands that things happen. Sometimes things happen we don't like. He absolutely does not judge his clients. He listens with an open mind and a caring disposition. He truly wants to help you. I would also be remiss if I didn't include the staff he surrounds himself with. John's office team are champions as well. They communicate with you very well. They remain calm and also care. They answer questions promptly. You can hear the kindness in their voice when you speak with them. They take your calls and get you any answers you might be looking for.
