Charles Van Ness has been my lawyer for several years. He has gone above and beyond resources in representation of my court cases. Although I hesitate to discuss personal legal matters, I can honestly state I don't know what I would have done without his assistance. I have discovered in Mr. Van Ness a trusted and gifted man of the Law. He has always informed me of my status . He has gone to great lengths to confirm my awareness of each and every situation. He has great knowledge and respect for his profession. I am blessed to have him in my life. In the most recent bankruptcy case, I was overwrought with a personal tragedy. I was able to remain in constant contact with him as to the status. The outcome was such a relief to me. He had eliminated such a burden at the most stressful time in my life. For this , I shall always be grateful. I never hesitate to send him referrals. Friends and family were beyond satisfied. I t is a privilege to know Charles Van Ness. I have nothing but respect and admiration for him and the amazing work he performs on a daily basis.
Thank you for allowing me to participate in this review. It was a great honor to do so.

Mr. Van Ness represented me in my Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceeding. He made the process easy and smooth, and put my worries at ease. The pricing was also reasonable.

He is an arrogant, condescending individual. He is inpatient and can be intimidating. I was often afraid to ask him questions because I feared that he would be short or tired of answering me. He may know his bankruptcy laws but he did a poor job in tying the other pieces together (ie letting me know how certain filing decisions could potentially affect credit and purchasing power in the future). He needs to do a better job at piecing things together for individual clients versus giving everyone the same big spew. He needs to listen to your specific needs and give you the pros and cons of your choices.
