Matt was my disability lawyer and won my case. I have major health issues .It took almost 23 months to go through the process . In which he prevailed .

Had a hearing in November of 2019. I was kinda thinking that here we go again. In my mind I was not sure, especially after being denied 5 times, but Matt assured me not to worry.. And he was right... I won my case and I was very happy with his help.. Thanks Matthew

A big thank you to Matt Shupe! Matt took my case when I lived in Ohio. Although I had to move to Ky Matt continued to represent me on my long journey to win my disability case. Even though I could have called Matt to speak over the phone when I had a question ( and believe me I had a lot of questions) I chose to email him because I know he is in and out of court and I knew he would get back to me as soon as he could. There were so many times that I wanted to give up with Social Security because I felt they did not believe that I was disabled but then I had Matt there to back me up and was with me every step of the way! After two years of the denial/appeal process, my daughter's SSI case was ultimately successful at the hearing level. The hearing was a nerve-wracking experience for our family but Matthew was superb. He was thoroughly familiar with the details of my daughter's complicated case and his calm, confident manner was very reassuring. First of of it's been a person who thought if you can't explain something in layman's terms then you don't understand it yourself. Matt explained everything that was happening in a language that I was able to understand. When I first talked to Matt it was to appeal my denial from disability. The disability can be hard because you're just not the same person that you used to be. Talking to Matt he was on such a personal level with me that it was like we were going to go fishing after the hearing. One thing I can say is he definitely left a lasting impression on me. It's hard for people with multiple sclerosis to prove that disability a lot. But Matt did is digging and research and came to the hearing completely prepared. I really can't say enough good things about Matt Shupe. He took my case, and was able to help me in a very, very short time. The only thing I regret is that I didn't come to him sooner.
