This attorney is a complete liar and should not be trusted in any manner.He lies and makes up completely rediculous excuses for why he didnt file what he was supposed to or even straight out lie about filling until the deadline to file has passed.HE IS A Complete Crook And liar.STAY AWAYYYY FROM THIS HABITUAL LIAR.

This atty drags his feet and does not finish in a timely manner. One excuse after another. I am so disappointed in him as an atty.

Horrible place to go. My mom worked for him for years and years (until she got laid off because he couldn't afford to pay her) so I figured he'd help me out. He told me 500 to help me with my dui case. I handed his secretary 500 cash and he showed up at my pre trial. Told me the plea they offered me, and then decided to extend the pre trial to the end of this month. After not responding to any of my texts or calls he finally decided to TEXT me back and says "you need to bring another 500 to my office by this week or I can't represent you." What?!!!!!! A week before my trial you expect me to come up with 500???? Then after I tell him I can't come up with that in a week, that I need time, he withdraws as my attorney!!!! He's a money hungry person and doesn't do what he says!!! Now I'm out 500 and an attorney. What a joke of a business!!!!

Louis Bertrand failed to provide an adequate defense for a DUI , pled me no locontendere and was told by the Judge, Laury Pittman to shut up which he did for the rest of my trial. He still bilked me out of $18,000.00! Then grabbed my hands in the jailhouse parking lot and began to pray. I served 31 days because the judge could'nt count. I want my money back but he refused to talk to me. I intend to file a Peer review complaint with the Portage County Bar Assosiation in order to receive some long overdue Justice.
