Katie was an excellent attorney to work with. With what could have been an ugly divorce she was able to keep things peaceful and always had my children at the forefront of the process. No one goes into a marriage thinking they will get divorced... or at least I didn't. I waited 40+ years to meet "the one," thinking I had made a wise decision in finding my forever person. Inevitably though, that day did come, and along with it a lot of fear. Fear of change, fear of losing things that I had put a lot of time and effort into, etc... but nothing more earth-shattering than the fear of losing my kids. While I won't get into specifics, I interviewed 5 divorce attorneys. 5. And NONE of them stood out to me as much as Katie did. Katie really listened to me and then logically - in a time for me where there was nothing logical going on - helped me put a lot of my fears to rest. She explained the law to me in terms I could understand and took almost all of the "unknown" out of the equation. What impressed me the most about Katie - and why I chose her -was her affiliation with the Center for Principled Family Advocacy (I truly wanted what was best for my children) and her overall demeanor/attitude. On day one, she told me that we would not be disrespectful and that we would always take the high ground because that's who she represents. She then proceeded to manage the entire situation with the most professional attitude I've ever witnessed. I'll never be able to thank her enough and would more-than-highly suggest you take the time to meet with her to see everything in her that I did. Side note to anyone going through a divorce: You Got This and it will get better.

Katie was extremely helpful in navigating my divorce from start to finish. She was responsive anytime I had a question - even on the most minor details. She was compassionate to what I was going through and knew my priorities for this process. Highly recommend.

Kaitlyn assisted my ex-wife and I through the process of disillusionment over a 5-6 month time frame. In periods where our emotions peaked or dipped Kaitlyn was there to re-assure us. She kept us focused. We also have two young children so the process was the not the easiest. I'd highly recommend Kaitlyn for those that need this service.

I highly recommend Katie for anyone needing to dissolve their marriage or a prenuptial. I had use Katie for my prenuptial agreement. She made an uncomfortable, awkward, delicate matter, very understanding and comfortable for my fiancé and I. She was professional, patient, understanding, and provided me with a wealth of information of what was necessary for this procedure. Would use Katie again if ever needed no question about it.

I worked with Katie over the course of a few weeks on my pre-nuptial agreement. She is very detail oriented and cares about her clients’ best interests. When I had questions, she patiently explained the content and legal language to me so that I fully understood everything in the contract and helped make sure I was protected. I would recommend her to anyone going through this process.

Kaitlyn made this difficult process as comfortable and seamless as it could possibly have gone. From beginning to end, she was prompt, thorough, easily accessible, organized, and fair. She clearly laid out the process and kept us on track and focused. She helped us navigate through difficult decisions and keep us on the task at hand as well as let us circle back to topics that needed more attention/discussion. She maintained her timeline and followed through when noted (i.e. sending documents, emails). Her payment method was also easy to use and able to separate to our needs. She was very thorough with final documents and laying everything out that was discussed during the sessions, in an easily readable/understandable format, as well as assisting in finalizing the the mediation in court to make it legal. Overall she was amazing and made the whole process easy and fair. I would definitely recommend her to others, 100%.
