Linda has been a source and inspiration to me as a fellow lawyer. First, she has the courage to go up against anyone, especially when the injustice is clear. You can't have courage without confidence and intelligence. She has it all. I definitely would want Linda on my side. As a Michigan practioner, I have referred clients to her over the years and the feedback from my clients have been very positive. I was referred to Linda for a divorce by two people whose judgement I trust.She understood my situation from our first meeting.She was very thorough.She listened attentively and then asked all the right questions.I had never dealt with an attorney before.She put me at ease.She is very direct and to the point.She was clear on her retainer and the expectations.She laid out the pros and cons to what was going to be a highly contested divorce (22-year marriage) and custody battle. She then left it to me to decide if I wanted to proceed. The initial consultation was invaluable and I felt secure that she would take care of me and my kids. My case was long and protracted over 17 months. My ex's attorney was not cooperative but that did not stop Linda from dealing with the roadblocks in a professional manner. She never stooped down to the game playing which I am quite sure was a challenge. Yet,she was aggressive when necessary. I highly recommend Linda as a divorce attorney and for other matters. I returned to Linda a couple years after my divorce and hired her to review a settlement offered in a class action lawsuit. While I merely asked her to review the contract, she suggested that based on the parameters set out I was deserving of more than what was provided in the settlement agreement. She asked for my permission to contact the law firm in New York handling the class action.I was shocked when the next day I received a revised settlement agreement for an additional $96,000.00. When I wanted to pay her a percentage of the additional recovery she declined stating that I had not hired her to negotiate.Linda will advocate for you more than you do for yourself.She is a true advocate and wouldn't let me give up.She always took my calls or would call be back.
