My case was very complicated. I owned a couple of businesses and had been having IRS issues for over a decade. Some of the money was owed to them but they did not credit me for over $100,000 that I paid to them years ago. In the fall of 2016 I started getting notices that they were going to levy my assets.
My only option was bankruptcy. I went to a number of different attorneys and most said to just do a chapter 7. My house and business might be forfeited. I was referred to Matt and we discussed my options.
The short story is that while it did take about a year for everything to get resolved, Matt was able to negotiate with the IRS and my other creditors and make a plan that will enable me to pay everything off and still keep my house and business. I saved about $250,000.
Thanks Matt. You were able to resolve a situation that I thought I would never be out from under.

I was told she was the best. I thought she was when I first came to see her. I talked more to Jennifer than I did her(Jennifer is no longer there) and her partner in the law firm left or retired, not sure which. She told me she had extensive knowledge of the ins and outs of SS as she had worked somewhere in the area of SS. I felt that she never was on top of my case. I always had to do the calling to get any info on my case. She told me that everything looked good as far as what I have her. During the process I moved out of state but still chose to keep her as she had been with me from the beginning. My case was set up via "skype" from where I moved to Toledo OH.... she called me a week before the hearing to go over questions and my info. I felt good in what was happening as I was truthful in everything I said. The day came, I went to the place I was going to do my hearing. I answered the questions and all was good. I was told that Toledo was behind almost 3 months. I kept calling to see if they heard anything. Finally I got a call from her office that a desicion had been made and went out on a Friday. I may have moved 1000 or so miles and it was almost 2 weeks before I received the decision. It was a Thursday, it was unfavorable and I called my attorney. She was in court and I was told they would have her call me the following Monday. But to my surprise the next day in the mail I got a letter saying she was done with me via the contract and she would not represent me further. I looked thru the decision and to my shock there was info from my psychiatrist that he had taken things out of context and she knowingly sent on the paperwork to SS instead of trying to get corrected info. Why would you want your client to fail? I would never recommend her as she is obviously incompitent.
