My case was very complicated. I owned a couple of businesses and had been having IRS issues for over a decade. Some of the money was owed to them but they did not credit me for over $100,000 that I paid to them years ago. In the fall of 2016 I started getting notices that they were going to levy my assets. My only option was bankruptcy. I went to a number of different attorneys and most said to just do a chapter 7. My house and business might be forfeited. I was referred to Matt and we discussed my options. The short story is that while it did take about a year for everything to get resolved, Matt was able to negotiate with the IRS and my other creditors and make a plan that will enable me to pay everything off and still keep my house and business. We hired Mathew Bryant to litigate a successful chapter 13 plan in the Northern District Bankruptcy Court. Our chapter 13 plan was more complicated then most, and Matt did a great job getting us through the many hurdles. He is very knowledgeable in Bankruptcy law and procedure and never missed one deadline or date with the court, creditors, or the trustee. Matt had a number of objections to what creditors tried to claim and we won every objection, ( although Matt reminded us that that is not always the case).
