If you're looking for legal counsel that will take you through the many battles of the war of workman's compensation ,Schaffer and Associates will get in the trenches with you. After being severely hurt at work ,working for the same company for 38 years, I was left in a predicament where I was not able to work because of my injuries. After 3 months of being off work with no income and being a single wage earner for the home I realized I needed legal advice. I called Schaffer and Associates and Marilyn Levine welcomed me in .She explained everything thoroughly and immediately got the ball rolling. Schaffer and Associates fought diligently for me in my first hearings getting me established in regards to compensation for my lost wages. My experience with Schaffer was a positive one. Together we signed a simple fee contract, Schaffer skillfully executed paperwork while I attended to my medical needs. I was never pressured and always treated respectfully. The SS decision came back, "Partially Favorable," meaning I won a monthly income. I'm going to take that award and move forward. Judicial accuracy assessed my disability as inconsistent on all 18 pages of their decision. Some days ok, other days too ill to function. That's exactly right. Judge, look at the blue book to see my disability matches your explanation. I tell you that to tell you this.
