He's arrogant and judgemental. He was appointed guardian ad litem in my custody case for my daughter. I do not believe he understands or cares about the delicate family dynamics present in families Who are less privileged than him. He lacks compassion and wisdom. Even though he found in my favor I want him to know he's not God. And maybe he could care a little more about the child he's being paid to make decions about.

We worked with Robert to gain sole custody of our grandson, which we were recently awarded. It was not always easy to communicate with Robert and I was sometimes frustrated he did not share more details of his strategy. But he was very nice, responsive, and not condescending, and we got the outcome we wanted.

I gave Attorney Strader 5 stars because I could not give him 6! He is well on his way to becoming one of (if not the) best attorneys in the Youngstown area! I was in need of help in getting my visitation with my daughters expanded. Coming in, I did not have a very favorable opinion of attorneys as a whole. Attorney Strader changed my opinion forever. He could see just how bad I was hurting (emotionally) when I hired Attorney Bruno in August of 2017. I knew that I was in the right place as soon as I walked in the door! He worked tirelessly on my case and got me results that I would have never received without him! Not only did he stand up for me, he helped guide me as to what I needed to do on my end to help myself in the situation. He kept me informed EVERY step of the way, and he went above and beyond what he was required to do! He understands the human aspect of his client's situation and he cares about the client, not just your money! When I called him with a question, he always responded in less than 24 hours. With other attorneys, you would be lucky to be called back the same week. He's smart, caring, no nonsense, and he doesn't blow smoke, regardless of what the situation is! I will never hire any other attorney as long as he is in the Youngstown area! Trust me, you will not be disappointed in hiring him!

Dear Joe Jo, With all due respect, this attorney that you are speaking of has gone above and beyond for me. He is an amazing attorney. Maybe you should point the finger in the right direction. You should not look a gift horse in the mouth, then proceed to poke it the rear. It isn't fun for anyone. So please stop being a worthless excuse for a human being, and blame your loved one for screwing up. It is not his fault. Also, I have a hard time believing that he did not contact you at all. What that sounds like to me is that you are trying to get something for nothing. I am almost certain of that. I am also certain that you are 1of those type of people that are not happy unless you have something to complain about. Judging by your previous reviews that you have posted on line I find this to be true. Next time return a phone call, respond to his letters, or just stop in his office. That seems to be the best way to handle this situation. I have never met a more patient and understanding attorney. Thank your Robert L. Root for being the amazing attorney that you are, and for always having my best interest at heart.

I have used this attorney a few times, and I know friends and family who have used this attorney many times. Attorney Root is an extremely stand up individual, who works very hard for his clients and their rights. I have witnessed attorney Root perform as a privately hired attorney, as well as a public defender in the City of Niles. Attorney Root performs ethically across the board whether privately hired, or a public defender. Today I googled his name to look up his phone number, and noticed a review that speaks badly about him. That review is an extremely unfair and negatively biased review. I know two dozen people who have used this attorney and have been successful in their court cases. I also find it funny that the prior said review, states "I don't know if they (the client) paid or not". I can guarantee if the client paid for Mr. Root's services- they would have been fully represented. Sounds like someone wasn't responsible and wanted to go out and blame an unpaid attorney for their lack of effort and irresponsibility. Despite the other erroneous opinion, this guy is top notch, A+. No other attorney will fight harder. Dollar for Dollar, Attorney Robert Root is the best attorney hands down.
