I worked with Jonathan in order to resolve a very difficult rental situation that I was dealing with as a landlord. He did exactly what I needed which was to get back possession of my property quickly. He and his staff did what they said they would do,and were responsive to my calls and emails. When you are dealing with a landlord-tenant issue, call his office . They will get the job done. Every day we all pay insurance for things that will likely never happen, in my case I paid a very reasonable fee to insure that things got done correctly, and quickly. Highest recommendation.

My wife and I needed to establish a trust for our special needs son to allow him to retain his government assistance even if he were to receive inheritance from us or other gifts exceeding the Social Security maximums. Mr. Schlegel did an excellent job of explaining the options to us and walking us through the process of implementing the proper documentation for our complete estate planning. He was very helpful and patient in answering our questions and explaining everything. I would highly recommend him for estate planning, especially if that planning includes the need to establish a trust for a developmentally-disabled loved one.

My husband and I had already had a trust in place for our special needs son, we had previously done estate planning years ago with another attorney. We decided to contact Jonathan Schlegel just to update things. To our surprise the previous attorney not being experienced in dealing with Special Needs advised us improperly. Our son would of kept his medicaid benefits, but anything left in the Trust at the time of his death would go to the State, not on to our surviving family. Thank goodness we decided to see Jonathan Schlegel. He is very good at his profession, guided us through every step of the process.
