I found this firm luckily by Facebook search, sadly it was after working with multiple other firms. Heidi and her team treat you like family. They are competent and efficient in what they do, which is fighting for veterans benefits. I really enjoy their transparency. I have recommended the firm to many friends.

Lawyers for American Vets Came highly recommended from several of the guys at work. While they were waiting for my c-file from the VA a surgery actually put me over the threshold for 100% permanent and total. Despite this, they diligently worked my case when my C-file came in. They found that several years prior I had conflicting diagnoses from a nurse practitioner and from a psychologist. They appealed the not service connected ruling and I was backdated that 100% for almost 2 years. They were very nice, professional, and easily reached throughout the whole process. Providing updates throughout the multi month process.

After trying to work with a VSO who did little besides help me file my initial claim, I came across Heidi and her team and thought I would try submitting my VA claim through her office. She came through in a big way, helping me get service connected for the majority of my claims and continuing to fight the VA on a few others. Her office knows how to work through the paperwork that the VA claims process requires and they were able to get my claims backdated to when I left the service. This has been very helpful so I could get treatment at the VA for my ongoing service-related issues. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Heidi and her team has taken so much of the stress of the process of filing for my disabilities. I have many friends & some family members who have gone through this process without help and expressed to me of the pain & stress they have gone through and many still are. A good friend referred me to Heidi and she has been a God sent blessing for me. She & her team continue helping me with form and what I need with those forms for submission; I get confused and frustrated easily and now I get the forms filled out with the backup and send them to her team & they take care of it from there. I highly recommend Heidi and her team. For me, the reduces stress & confusion has greatly impacted my life.

Good - at taking your money. Call after call needing a 'remind me what's going on" as you pay to recap multiple times what he should have written as notes. Gave great confidence in our case for us to pay him, drained down the money asking the same questions over and over again, and then with nothing changing in the facts of the case becomes a "well, not so sure this is a good case". This was a pretty basic case - his opinion of the case shouldn't have changed after 10 phone calls. No new information was introduced.... just paid for nothing.

Be careful of Mr. Hrabcak. When you set up a consultation with him make sure you know the fee amount or you will get a surprise invoice several months after your meeting even if you do not go forward with his services. You won't even need to have signed a contract or had an agreed upon fee amount. Actually you won't be told you were going to be charged for the initial consultation so do do yourself a favor and ask first - don't assume this person is a nice guy. He's not. You will just get a nice big fat bill and continued harassment until you pay it. To add insult to injury you will be billed for useless information given to you at the time of your initial meeting with him.

If you want someone on your side that can navigate the intricacies of the VA landscape, do not hesitate to contact Heidi. She was instrumental in a series of successful victories with the VA! Without her help, I would still be without my Army medical records and at square one with obtaining disability ratings. I highly recommend her services.

They are exceptional in their work and tenacity to get you service connected. After fighting on my own and using VSO's since 2012. Heidi took over my case in May, 2021. By early 2022 my case was Remanded by the BVA. In October 2022, I was rated at 80% and yes, I received all the back-pay compounded since 2012. By February 2023, I was uprated to 90%. May, 2023 I'm now rated at 100% P&T. I don't know where you are financially in life but, I do know as Vets we go through some "gatsdam" hard times. My family and I prayed and prayed for a miracle.
