Divorce is one of the most traumatic experiences anyone can go through, especially when there are minor children involved. One of the most important things a person needs so they can get through it as smoothly as possible is a very good lawyer. Unfortunately, most people would agree that there just aren’t very many of those around. Candee Wilson goes far beyond being a very good lawyer. I would say that by every objective and measurable standard, she is world-class. There are a lot of attorneys who find themselves practicing family law because they have no other option. It’s a default decision. It’s hard to become exceptional at things you aren’t naturally gifted at. She is a natural. She is a natural litigator, she has the ability to retain very large volumes of complex information and remember it on the spot, she is always prepared, she is accessible, she is consistent, and she is responsive. Ask people around you how many times they have encountered an attorney who actually cares and is responsive. You may hear about one or two, but it is rare. When you get divorced, you need a strong lawyer who cares and does her job exceptionally well because she’s a natural at it. That’s Candee.

Poor communication, never showed up on time, never knew why we were even in court. Preferred to work things out with opposing counsel behind closed doors. Thank goodness for the GAL. Don’t waste your money.

Very disappointed after looking back 3 years+. Even 6 months ago, on a different suit, but for custody reasons. If you’re looking for an attorney to represent you, my freedom of speech allows me to say, keep looking. She was referred by a local businessman, and I have since told him my experience. Word of mouth goes a long way, this is why I’m here. After visiting with several attorneys she was portrayed as a settle out of court attorney (mediation is her strategy) I take it as, she doesn’t want to fight in front of a judge or a jury to protect my best interest. I had two dealings with Candee and referred her to a friend, only to end up with egg on my face. The friend was the eye opener, as Candee was always right, and never received important papers to show expensive assets, with serial numbers, vin numbers, and detailed descriptions. Never had a game plan for mediation and was late to the same mediation. She didn’t have my back nor my friends. My advice is to keep looking if you’re still reading. After about 25k later, the only one of the three of us were happy.

There are not enough words to express how amazing Candee is!!! She worked around the clock on our case. Answered all of my questions as well as my husbands. She kept us in the loop on everything that was going on with our case. She made an impossible case possible!! So when I say amazing she is hands down amazing!!! If you need a great lawyer she is the person to come too. She got our case completely dismissed. She takes time to do the small stuff that makes a big difference that most people wouldn’t take the time to do. She went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank her enough!! I would 10/10 recommend her!!!

Best in town. I refer anyone needing an attorney to her. She handled both of my custody cases and takes the time to explain what is happening patiently to my many questions. She refuses to take the easy way out and settle and is aggressively working for the client. Goes above and beyond in communication with me and always remains unflustered and a consumate professional.
