I am a resident of Moore, Oklahoma. I was cited a traffic violation in September of 2018 for allegedly violating state statue title 47-11-901d. Texting and Driving. I opted to defend myself and the prosecuting attorney Jonathan Fried in Cleveland County has attempted to take advantage of his expertise and my ignorance of the how our legal system operates. Mr. Jenkins very generously took time out of his day to answer questions for me and provide me legal advise. He did not charge me, he did not have to help me out, and I’m here to tell you the large majority will not because they know the legal system is not set up for you to have the ability to help yourself. Thank you very much Elton. I sincerely wish there were more people out there such as yourself.
