Matt Swain monumentally and catastrophically failed in epic proportion, to say the least as far as making me feel confidant in him or his firm for legal representation. Also, he had the nerve to say something like, that he could tell by my tone of voice that things weren't going to go well because I would probably disagree with anything he said. As if I know the first thing about being a Criminal Defense Lawyer. I never once disagreed with him during our conversation over the phone, not one time. He seriously needs to get over himself. Maybe he was just having a bad day and needs a little break, I don't know. Honestly, one thing that he mentioned regarding his firm having a great relationship with the two District Attorneys offices in nearby counties where I have legal issues, kind of made me feel as his firm and those group of District Attorneys do all kinds of colluding and shady deals. I'm not saying this is true but I definitely got that vibe after he mentioned it, this was after he blew up at me. My advice to Matt is, if he wants to grow in the current profession that he's in, then he is going to have to appear to be or give the impression of being, a little more sympathetic and compassionate, particularly during first-time interaction with potential clients, considering, that he is a CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYER that people, not all guilty, reach out to for legal advice, legal representation that should accompany some peace of mind - he should not come across as a crooked salesman.
Nevertheless, I am self-reflective because for me it's part of a mental, spiritual, and emotional healing process that I feel I must go through in order to gain growth. So with that being said, without sounding too contradictive and totally throwing Matt under the bus, perhaps I could have said some things differently in a different tone.
Lastly, my questions for Matt are: 1) How do you make a potential client feel as if you or your firm are not just after money? 2) How could you convince a potential client that you care about justice being served regardless of who your friends are at any District Attorney's office? 3) How can you make potential clients feel as if the relationship will be beneficial and advantageous for both parties? I ask those questions because, in my opinion, we live in a cynical and superficial world. I am not saying that you haven't had huge success because you clearly have but there is always room for Active Learning and Continuous Improvement etc.

I hired the Swain Law Group to help me with a Felony DUI in Norman earlier this year. They did an amazing job and kept my drivers license. I look forward to this getting off my record in a few years. Thank you swain law group for making the process easy and always answering my calls!

I had a felony case in Oklahoma back in 2012.
The guy couldn't get an offer with the DA in my case.
All that money, down the drain.

I had two violations on a protective order and Matt got one violation dropped and probation for me. When I complete probation none of this will be on my record. Matt did a great job and I would recommend him to represent anyone.

Matt represented me and did a fantastic job. He was available to answer my questions, and met with me when needed. Matt put my mind at ease and was caring, never judgmental. He told me all of my options and gave me his professional opinion on what we should do. I would definitely hire him again if needed.

Matt Swain helped me out of a situation that would have otherwise cost me money I didn't have, and precious time I couldn't spare. And he did it selflessly. If I ever need to turn to an attorney in the future, he would be my first call. I highly recommend him to anyone in the Norman/OKC area! His entire staff was kind and helpful from day one. Thank you all so much!

Matt represented me on a DUI in Cleveland County and did a great job. I've kept my license, for now, but we'll see what happens with that. He gave me a payment plan that I was able too pay also.

I hired Matt for a felony burglary case and he was able to get me an outcome that I never expected. I had never been in trouble and he walked me through the process and answered every question that I had. He charged me a fair amount of money and I am very happy with the outcome of the case.
