Lawrence is a mean, scary guy...for the opposing side, that is. If you are tired of fighting your own battles with your ex, he will gladly fight them for you. Plus, he'll do one heck of a job. He handled my very contentious divorce which was litigated in 2 counties and included a child custody battle that lasted 12 months and went all the way to a full day trial. Lawrence is always right. The man knows the law and how all of the judges will respond to everything. I have had numerous hearings and court dates and they all turned out like he said they would. If you hire him and do what he tells you to do, you will get the results that you want. He commands control of the courtroom and always has a quick answer for the tough questions. If you think all attorneys are the same, you probably have never been to court. I have seen many timid, unprepared, outwitted attorneys obtain some pretty disasterous results for their clients. I ended up with sole custody of my daughter, 99.9% of the marital property, none of the marital debt, and a gigantic judgment against my ex-husband for attorney fees. I had a very difficult dilemma concerning my ex-husband and child support. I was at a period in my life where I felt like I needed to progress forward in a positive direction, but my kids were in a negative situation with my ex-husband and something needed to be done about it. He gathered all the advantages he could for my situation, and really worked hard for me. He does things in a very cool and collected manner, which was in high contrast to my panic induced state of mind. I am so happy and BLESSED that I went to Andrew Swartzerg. He completely eased my mind and gave comfort to my heart. The outcome of the situation was amazing. I am the residential/primary parent of the children! Andrew helped me remove them for a dangerous situation in an unstable home and now they are living a full, healthy life with me. I thank everyone in that office for their warmth, honestly, kindness, and comfort. It was an amazing experience and I would definitely go to them again. He will listen to you and tell you the truth. If he feels he can't help you in your situation, he won't take your money. He is a man of integrity, and former Air Force which helped a lot in my situation. He is amazing. I just wanted to let everyone know that I went for a consultation on a family matter that Ive never encountered before. I was not sure where to start. I asked a friend and she recommended Lawrence Goordwin. I was very nervous because I have never had to really have a lawyer before and you know the stigma. So I was already on guard when I went in. When I walked in I was calmed right away with the surrounding and was pleasantly welcomed by the receptionist. When I was brought back for my appointment. Which I would like to add was right on time. I was surprised at how at ease I was talking with Mr Goodwin. He answered all my questions in a way that I understood and did not make me feel silly or like I wasn't on the same level as himself. Needless to say I will be going him with my family matter and I would suggest the anyone else!
