Micheal Mcbride handled an expired tag ticket I received in 2012 in Kansas. He was very professional. The ticket was amended in a very timely manner, with little effort on my part. Micheal took the time to make sure I understood the charges, process, and outcome of my trial. 10/10 highly recommend.

When you think of the cliche attorney, think of this man right here. Michael David McBride is why most lawyers are disliked and despised.
My experience with this man began in 2002. I was a young, dumb kid fresh out of the Army. I had a night of excessive drinking that ended with me doing the stupidest thing I have ever done in my life. Handcuffed and lying on my back with a cops knee in my chest, several cans of mace on my face and in my mouth, I attempted to speak and instead choked and "spit" on the officer. And in that instant became a felon. Placing bodily fluids on a government official. The lowest felon given in Oklahoma or anywhere for that matter.
The second worse mistake of my life was several weeks later when I called Michael Mcbride. After $1,500, many court appearances and several promises to get the felony removed from my record, I left court for the last time believing I was free and clear. Well, when you deal with a snake in the grass, you're liable to get bitten.
I found out within a few days that my felony wasn't expunged or anything, it was dismissed. Now, I had no clue about how the legal system worked back then. To me, dismissed was the best I could have ever hoped to get. I assumed the felony was dismissed from my record. And Michael allowed me to maintain that assumption.
So here I sit some 13 years later having never broken the law again, trying to get a Driver for Hire permit. To do so, the official at the local police department needs to see a deposition stating that I paid my dues for the felony that isn't supposed to be on my record. Fine, I thought, I can deal with that. I call the Oklahoma Court Clerks office and realize they're still handling records using the technology of 1978. Oh, I can get the papers I need, after sending a written request and $1.50 to the Clerks office, waiting for them to process said request and mail the paperwork back to me here in NC. At least several weeks of no permit and no job which means no money.
I called McBride to see if he could help out in any way, considering the felony is still on my record despite all of his promises and he said this, word for word:
"Yep I can help with that. I can drive down to the Court Clerks office which is quite a distance since I am no longer downtown. Then I'll pickup the paperwork and fax it to you. That's about 2 hours of my time. I charge $250 per hour,. So if you pay me $500, I'll take care of it immediately."
I simply laughed and said, "No thanks, Michael. Have a good day." and ended the last conversation I hope to ever have with this walking, talking cliche.
Do not trust this man no matter what. He is a liar that isn't even good enough at lying to get his job done right. He is a greedy creature that makes me fear for my daughters future in a world of other creatures like him.
Steer clear of Michael McBride and you'll never have to deal with what I have over the years due to a man that values the almighty greenback over any kind of moral or ethical integrity.
