I was highly satisfied with my outcome and the process. I was very happy with my lawyer. He did a great job for me and worked tirelessly for me.

This is somewhat of a unique review because Mrs. Sherwood was opposing counsel in my legal matters. That being said, this review is not out of bitterness or spite but public awareness. FYI if you have a complaint against an attorney you can file a complaint through the Oklahoma Bar Association's website In my opinion Mrs. Sherwood on many instances violated OBA Standards of Professionalism 1.The first instance she likely tampered with evidence and then admitted it for trial. It was a screenshot of a message which was cropped in hopes it would help her client achieve a better outcome. 2. Mrs. Sherwood and her client concocted an undoubtedly false timeline of events that directly contradicts information provided in discovery. Mrs. Sherwood likely instructed her client to lie and even assisted in the lie through her comments. 3. Mrs. Sherwood instructed her client to disobey an agreed order and then in her filing twisted the story to benefit her client. 4. In MULTIPLE of her filings she utilizes factually inaccurate information to abuse the court system to her favor. 5. Mrs. Sherwood is also very fond of exaggerating things in her work (OBA SoP says not to exaggerate). For example in her recent motion for attorneys fees she uses aggressive, domestic abuse and the like. All things I was not accused of , tried for or convicted of. In another of her writings she had the option of telling a factual recollection but chose again to embellish the truth to her benefit. Both parties were convicted of indirect contempt but in her writing she chose to exaggerate once again by adding "willfully" when referencing my portion but not her clients. She also stated that her client " was granted all of her requests" once again false. Her client testified to wanting a no contact order which was denied. 6. Mrs. Sherwood also contacted my employer on at least one occasion if not two. Likely to affect my income that provides for my daughter. 7. In Another instance Mrs. Sherwood reached out to my attorney with an accusation of improper communication demanding she do something about it. My attorney responded "what exactly is your problem with his communication". Mrs. Sherwood did not respond. The reason she didn't respond is because the only reason she sent the email is to once again an attempt to help her case at the sentencing hearing. Mrs. Sherwood was insistent of one sentence which was denied, then the next one which was denied, at this point she was desperate and used the email. Mrs. Sherwood told the Judge that "there has already been once instance where attorneys had to get involved". This is problematic because 1. she introduced new evidence 2. shes exaggerating, attorneys did not need to get involved and her sole motivation was to manipulate the system to her advantage. Not to mention run up both of our bills. 8. Mrs. Sherwood submitted an accounting of her billing for her work during litigation. She signed an affidavit certifying its accuracy. Mrs. Sherwood had inaccurate billing information in her motion for attorney's fees. 9. Mrs. Sherwood likely coached her client to be dishonest during testimony. When she promoted her client of whether Respondent was a good dad, she said she Didn't Know. Just months earlier her client had sent a message saying their daughter was "lucky to have Respondent as a dad". Mrs. Sherwood has many mentions of god and her faith on her website and even an interview with KFOR last year. IMO she does not embody the teaching of Jesus in her work. Attorneys are supposed to be pillars of respect and integrity that uphold the rule of law in our society. Unfortunately, Mrs. Sherwood has strayed far from those principles and even her own claimed religious beliefs. She will stop at nothing to ruin someones life and take kids from loving parents. I truly hope she can pull back and take a hard look at how she practices law. Her personal involvement cannot be healthy. God Bless This review is my opinion not a statement of fact

I would personal recommend Monica and her office to not just family members but to strangers and friends alike. I don’t know where I would be without her and am scared to imagine. A++ thank you for everything you have done for my family I will forever be in your debt thank you!

Monica Dionisio is more than just a lawyer. How do you put into words someone who has completely changed your life? I have used the services of Monica Dionisio intermittently for the past five years.
