If I could give less than one star I would. I hired Mr. Reser five years ago. He was initially a pleasant GAL who presented a professional front. My home was a happy, healthy, safe, nurturing, homeschooling family at the time of his hiring and I've been in the same financially stable house for 16 years. However, going through a very difficult divorce, I needed the services of a GAL to protect my children. After many, many months of dragging out services and making no recommendation on my case, although he was fully on board and in agreement, maintaining a helpful air, even being the supervisor for visits between the kids and my ex, he then switched script and went off to a totally dark area, dragging my own father into my case, Chris Reser then recommending an attorney to my father that he (Chris) was dating to hire against me supposedly on behalf of my children. After my divorce was final, he was contractually released as my children's GAL. However, he then was immediately, within minutes while standing in the courtroom hallway, hired as my father's GAL for the same kids! Mr Reser dated my father's attorney while working for him on the case, this time, against me! After 7 more months, my life was in shambles, Mr Reser essentially meddled into, contorted, played with and destroyed every aspect of my life all while aquiring financial gain himself. The sheer amount of paperwork, financial statements, personal records, medical records, homeschool records, etc that he then began to request of me while he was against me was unheard of. He even asked me questions of sexual nature. ( I was a very modest, religiously brought up individual). The hoops I had to jump through were staggering, I even had to have character references personally come to his office and speak to him on my behalf, none of which happened in reverse when he was on my "side". I was financially ruined, ruined in my small homeschool community, ruined in my small neighborhood, ruined at my children's doctor's office. My relationship with my father was ruined after what was done to my family at the advisement of Chris Reser. My relationship with my oldest daughter was never the same and I have been afraid to parent her properly all these years. Mr Reser even retaliated and took me to court to try to get me put in jail and fined for being financially unable, as a single mother (who just went through a two year divorce plus an almost full additional year of hell with the new case Reser helped create), to continue to pay the ammased bill that he stuck me with 100% of instead of split with my ex for the time he was working on my behalf. I am still paying on my second bancruptcy in five years from all of this mess during my divorce to avoid losing my business, my home, everything. I still live in fear in my own home from what Chris Reser instigated in my family. I now have children left with severe anxiety, separation issues, trust issues, behavoiral issues and worst of all, fear. I now have no relationship with my father, left with bitterness and a shell. One of my children, who my father kept from me, after coming home 7 months later, was an emotional wreck, in and out of hospitals due to it all for two years afterward, and spiraled out of control til now, where we no longer have a relationship. I cannot completely express the domino affect and how utterly devastated my life became due to a simple choice of hiring and trusting in Mr Reser as a GAL to my children, whom he was entrusted to protect but in the end I am left with these pieces. I absolutely do NOT recommend anyone to hire Chris Reser for their case unless it's a criminal defense case, where he will surely get you off sucessfully, as it seems he roots for the bad guy. I have wanted to write this review for a long time but did not due to fear of further retaliation from him and his threats to take my children away again.

Left several messages about my grandson, his client, but he's out of town, I'm hoping when hee returns he treats his pro bono clients a if they are a important as his clients, who can afford tho pay.
