Robyn Hopkins was my ex wife’s attorney in our divorce. Before Hopkins became my ex wife’s attorney we were all friends. She, her wife, myself, my then wife and our children were all friends. Our sons played soccer together, and we went to church together. When my ex and I decided to get a divorce Robyn wanted to be my attorney but I went with someone else and she went with my ex instead. She has held a grudge ever since. Most recently she refuses to be professional and call me by my legal last name. Anytime she emails me, or talks to me in the phone (I am now representing myself because I feel no need to pay an attorney any longer since the divorce is final) she uses my maiden name, even though I’ve never changed my married last name. I’ve told Robyn repeatedly via email and phone that my last name hasn’t changed and to please be respectful and address me as such. She refuses. It’s also taken her since April 28th to write up paperwork that was ordered from the judge, even though once again I’ve asked for it multiple times. All around Robyn is unprofessional and petty.

We worked with Robyn for a little over a year to complete our step parent adoption. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. There were a few bumps that probably could have been avoided, but ultimately we won thanks to her. We are forever grateful for her and her firm. THANK YOU!! ♥
