Mr. Adams is a consummate professional with equal parts integrity and vigor, never stopping until he achieves victory. His skills in and out of the Courtroom are unmatched in his profession. When faced with the awesome power of government, there is only one choice to advocate for your cause. There is no greater asset to the legal profession I have met in my nearly 50 years! I cannot say enough to express my appreciation, gratitude and honor having the Kevin Adams defense. Look no further you need no other advocate, he is a one man army, producing far better results than a dozen attorneys.

My name is khupmin . I was accused of sexual battery at a car dealership where I used to work in March of 2012. I am a father of two kids . I am also a foreigner from north east India , living in the great nation of the United States of America with a green card . My life came tumbling down after sexual battery accusation . Since its a felony , I can be deported if convicted . That means can't live in the United States with my family . No more American dreams . I hired a lawyer but was not quite confident about his competency so , I research online a bit more and that's when I came across Mr Kevin Adams ( attorney at law ) I read testimonials of some of his previous trials winning accomplishment and I was convince right there that I found the right attorney that will have the balls to fight for me and above all , WIN !! The case . That's when I approached him to be my attorney . Today , on the 14 th September 2016 , about 4 years later , I was acquitted of sexual battery , a felony , all because of the hard work , tedious preparation , a genius in cross examination, of Mr Kevin Adams ( attorney at law ) . Today , I am a free man , all because of him. I am not being paid to say great things about him . This is my first hand experience , of working with him. If you ever need an attorney for any damn thing in this society , you ought to call Mr Kevin Adams immediately , period . He will get you the best outcome or results for your circumstances or situation . Trust me , you owe it to yourself . Can't thank you enough! Kevin , for all you have done for me and my family . May god bless you abundantly !!!

Kevin Adams has earned my respect not only as a very good attorney but also my friend who has represented me in not only a civil case involving millions of dollars, but as well has represented me in another case where my life was on the line. He never quit believing in my innocence and fought for me all the way. The verdict was NOT GUILTY on all counts. I truly am grateful to him for his professional tenacity and his zeal to fight for his client. He is the only attorney I trust without question. Thanksgiving is a special day or me for I know without Kevin Adams I wouldn't be able to spend it with my family. Highly recommended.

Kevin helped my son out of a very tricky situation. Kevin is well respected within the judicial system. I am so happy we called him to help us - he responded immediately and knew exactly what needed to be done.

I never seen an attorney shed a tear for a client when i got sentenced to prison! I would recommend him to anybody who does not know their rights and due process! He's worth every penny! Keep up the good work Kevin thats what Attorney are about!

I'm self employed in construction (a combination the IRS finds exceptionally nefarious apparently) and during the first phone interview I had with my auditor I was accused of hoarding cash under the mattress. Without any substantiation, she decided I had a $100,000 tax bill. She was rude, demanding and hostile. After a handful of sleepless nights, I hired Cliff Ribner. I read the first letter he sent to the auditor and knew I had hired the best! My initial tax burden of $106,000 turned into a couple thousand dollars. He's a great attorney.

I retained Shane Henry and he was upfront from the beginning and did not sugar coat expectations and cost. Communication was amazing with him and Amy their paralegal. They work very quickly and you see all communication with opposing counsel which I did not get from the attorney I had prior to retaining him. I got everything I wanted and I owe that to good counsel. I was able to get full custody which was best for my child. It was amazing. If I have to go back to court in the future, I will retain Shane. You will not regret going with Shane! If you are unsure, read the google reviews and do a consult. You will get exceptional service.

Mr. Magee has represented and advised me in many aviation and personal issues. These issues include my parents trust, an FAA violation and an aircraft accident. His opinions and advice are spot on. His settlement suggestions for each case we've been involved in have been very close to the final outcome. If required, I will not hesitate to use Mr. Magee again.

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. What potential outcomes can I expect?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
