When I came to Moura, I was a frustrated father with a teenage daughter who was in a very contentious relationship, and difficult living situation, with her mother. We also had a parenting coordinator who was more interested in creating issues between the parents and generating fees than being an advocate for what was best for my daughter. After meeting with Moura, we discussed the options available and a course of action was taken. After a few months of the legal process, we finally came to a amicable ending. The Parenting Coordinator was removed by the Court, a Court-Appointed Guardian At Litem (GAL) was appointed to represent my daughter, a new child custody agreement was established, and, most importantly, mandatory reconciliation counseling between my daughter and her mother was implemented, which resulted in them having a much better mother-daughter relationship. When patents get a divorce, it is terrible on children. Sometimes an Attorney specializing in Family Law has to get involved to defend the child’s right to choose and give them a voice in the decision-making process. 7 years ago, Moura gave my daughter that voice and she is better off for it. I am so glad I hired Moura to help negotiate this difficult situation. My daughter is better off and so are both parents.

Moura avoided doing much on my case at all until she had about $15k of my money in her pocket. Then she did the bare minimum, as slowly as possible. It took her six months to run up a tab that was equal to my annual salary and then in the 11th hour she withdrew from my case, apparently entitled to all of the money and none of the work. Hire this $400/hr self-proclaimed Dragonslayer at your own risk.
