I spent 10 years married to a San Francisco corporate litigator, so I know my way around attorneys. When it came time for a divorce, Shane Henry was my number 1 choice to represent me. He’s good in a courtroom. He has the skill and demeanor of an elite attorney. He got me everything I needed, and he did it efficiently. That’s key because it means he didn’t over bill me. Over billing is a pervasive problem in the industry. And I felt like every other attorney I interviewed had dollar signs in their eyes when I explained my situation to them. Shane was a true professional who did the work he needed to do an didn’t add on any excess. He didn’t waste my time. He just took care of business. Going through a divorce is an extremely vulnerable experience. I wanted someone I could trust, not someone I worried might take even more advantage of my situation. You don’t always get what you pay for with attorneys, but with Shane, I got the peace of mind that I had the best representation Tulsa could offer (someone who could match my ex in a courtroom) with honest billing ethics. I brought Shane on halfway through (I had started the divorce pro se) when things got complicated. In one Temporary Order Hearing, Shane was able to get all the major issues at stake nailed down in my favor. I absolutely recommend him. He’s efficient and honest, the kind of advocate I wanted to help me through my worst moments.

This firm must have zero morals or care about their image due to them hiring Ben Aycock. Ben is a lying worthless example of everything people hate about lawyers. His main trick is taking money to break up families with no regards to the children. He is often found working with other worthless individuals like April Rager. I wonder if her left Gotwals or got fired for his lack of morals.

Shane Henry is by far the best attorney, advocate, friend, and colleague I could ask for. The years between 2012 and 2015 were the toughest of my life. I hit every obstacle you can think of in those years. My divorce and custody battle gave me a front-row seat into the world of family court, and I had the misfortune of being represented by some profoundly inadequate attorneys at the onset of my case. You know the type. Those attorneys responsible for jokes like, “an attorney will do anything to win a case. Sometimes he will even tell the truth.” They all lived up to the bad reputation I had come to expect from attorneys. Filings were sloppy, late, and worse. Phone calls and emails went ignored. My money was literally stolen while not much happened in court. I had nowhere to turn. Then I met Shane. He was the only one who listened to me, heard my case, backed me up and did not ask me to change in some way to suit the court. He had a level of candor I had never before seen in an attorney. More importantly, he taught me how to defend myself. I discovered many things throughout our journey. But most importantly, I discovered an outstanding attorney whom I actually like and respect.
