Everyone at the law practice is very professional, hard working, kind and have high integrity.

I would avoid choosing Joel as your parenting coordinator as much as possible. I had to use him for mediation and we continued to use him as our PC after. He will come off as a nice friendly guy during mediation but that will completely change if you choose his as your parenting coordinator going forward. I had to bring stuff to his attention my childs mother was keeping our child during days and weeks that were mine. He was supposed to remedy this and its been 6 months hes still not done his job. I have sent over a dozen emails and numerous calls in the last 6 months and the ladies that answer the phone tell me the same thing hes in court, hes with a client, he will call you back, he has never called me back once. Not one time. You've been warned gents, he will not work for you or your child.

This law firm is a joke. They brag about NEVER EVER losing a case. If you have to convince yourself you are better then others, then you are a joke.

The best decision I ever made was to have LaCourse Law represent me during my divorce. They knew what they were doing and helped me understand the process along the way. I would highly recommend, you definitely get your moneys worth!

A little long, but an honest review! I am a legal assistant for an attorney in Tulsa, whom I trust completely... he recommended Joel Lacourse to represent me in my seemingly never-ending divorce proceeding (going on 3 years when I hired Joel!) and to help me obtain emergency custody of my children. My boss does not do family law, so this is the person he truly trusted to bring this case to a conclusion and to help me protect my kids. My divorce was filed in November of 2017 and had no end in sight. I could not get an attorney to get me any closer to a divorce, or to take my concerns over my children seriously. I remember spending nights (well, days, too) bawling my eyes out, worried sick for my kids while in the care of their father. I remember telling Joel if something wasn’t done and fast, something terrible WOULD happen to my kids. This was not an exaggeration, by the way. He listened to me, believed me, and was able to get me granted emergency custody. And for that, I am eternally grateful. Who knows what could have happened if I had not decided to hire him. That’s the absolute truth, too. Joel was always very honest and didn’t sugar coat anything to appease me, which I really appreciated & wouldn’t want him to do anyway. Oh and also, I would like to add — Joel’s legal assistant, Cassie, is so helpful and answers any questions I have in a timely manner and is the absolute sweetest girl! Which does make a difference. Would definitely use them in the future!

Joel LaCourse recently handled my divorce. It was handled with a professionalism and empathy that was appreciated by both myself and my ex-wife in what was a trying time even with an amicable separation. Joel made the process very simple for us, explained everything in detail, answered all our questions and in general was the exact opposite of the stereotyped lawyers that one might find on screen or making the news. That's a good thing in case it's not obvious. I can without hesitation recommend Joel as someone to put on your short list in the event you find yourself in the need for a lawyer. I'd be remiss if I didn't call out Cassie as well. She was always extremely responsive to queries and a pleasure to work with. While I hope to never need Joel's services again, I can say that I have no need to look elsewhere if I ever find myself in need of legal advice or assistance.
