My case was far from easy as so many are but I felt helpless up until I found Angela. She fought with/for me for almost three years of what felt to me the hardest battle life can throw you and she ROCKED it the day of trial. Angela is the BEST attorney in Oklahoma, hands down!! She cares deeply, and puts her heart and soul into her work. She could charge double or triple her rates and still have people knocking down her doors to have her representation. She doesn’t even advertise, because she stays in such high demand. I am shocked someone could have anything negative to say and I can also say with complete certainty that any negative review must have more to the story and is an inaccurate representation of Angela. First let me publicy disclose that I have been in business for the past 43 years providing support type services to the legal community - lawyers and the court system, therefore I have dealt with many attorneys over the years. I have had to hire many different attorneys over the years, both personally and professionally. Having dealt with lawyers for the past 43 years I know how the system works - I know how attorneys are. I've hired and dealt with good ones and bad ones. I can say beyond a reasonable doubt that Angela Smith is the best of the best - the creme of the crop. Angela knows her stuff - she is a bulldog . . . a fighter! She will fight for you every step of the way . . . even if it means challenging other lawyers and thier competency. She is caring and compassionate. She is more than fair and reasonable with her fees. You cannot go wrong by hiring Angela Smith for any family law matters you might have to deal with. And as for the individual who gave Angela a One Star Review - as I said before . . . having been in the business for 43 years working with - dealing with lawyers . . . . there is generally only two main reasons that an attorney will "fire" thier client - either you don't pay your bill OR your a rude and unreasonable client! Perhaps both in this particular case. First - If you don't like the school system you live in then MOVE. People do it every day! Second - family law matters involving divorce, kids, visitation and custodial issues are not an easy matter to deal with. They are difficult because of having to deal with two individuals who once loved each other, and for whatever reason, now hate each other. This hatred unfortunately clouds the primary issue - what is best for the child - and instead it becomes a not so truthful shouting match of he said/did - she said/did . . . The "Justice" system is not always right or fair. The courts are so overloaded with cases that things happen. And like i said - Custodian cases are often tedious and difficult cases - and slow moving through the court system. Often times the court dockets are so full that it may be six months before you can even get a spot on the docket. So yes, it can take years to decide a case. It is always in the best interest of the child for the parents to put their hatred for each other aside and do what is best for the children. And if you find yourself having to hire an attorney and go to court to resolve a dispute then do yourself a huge favor - hire Angela Smith! She will fight for you till the end.

I would not recommend. I had a family matter over school placement and primary custodian. The case got pushed back and moved 6 times over a 2 year period. A few times was because the courts and a few times was because it conflicted with her schedule. So after 2 years of nothing happening, other than a mediation that resolved nothing within the first month of me retaining her, she called me and said I can not be your attorney anymore. A week before my court date, which was actually set and stone from the judge this time. So After several thousand dollars and 2 years she just bailed on me, and she explained to me because she had a higher profile case that fell on the same date as my case. I’m assuming because it made her more money as well, but she said could not get it moved to another date. She told the judge it was due to her workload being to much, yet she retained 2 other cases within the same week she told me she can’t do my case anymore. So I had to start all over and pay another retainer to a different attorney a week before my case. Not only was it clearly un professional but very disrespectful and disappointing. She withdrew from case after 2 years and I never stepped in a court room with her. I was just trying to get my kiddo in a better school district, in a better community. It was clearly disrespectful and un professional in a nice way of saying it. I would not recommend her as a attorney in anyway to anyone.

Angela is great! She's very knowledgeable and knows what she's doing. After my case being pushed back for two years due to the opposing party's conflicts and our judge retiring, she got things moving for me and my case settled with the outcome I had been hoping and praying for! This is exactly why I hired her, and would without hesitation recommend her to anyone else looking for a great attorney. Pricing is fair compared to other attorneys who nickel and dime for every little thing. She really takes the time to listen and give a case the attention it needs while keeping you updated every step of the way!

If I could give 10 stars I would! I have been with Angela for several years now and let me just say you will NOT be disappointed!! She is an amazing lawyer, professional, thorough, top notch!! You will not find anyone better then her! She has been my go to anytime I have needed counsel on anything legal! Would recommend her to anyone wanting to be heard in court!! Amazing! Amazing!
