We started right away on the bankruptcy paperwork; he provided me with extensive explanations of the process and a detailed time line of what to expect. I received guidance for every step along the way and reassurance that he could get the job done! Filing for bankruptcy can make one feel embarrassed and ashamed. Filing Bankruptcy is hard and intimidating in many ways, and often an emotional rollercoaster. When I decided I had to file, I decided to look at 3-4 offices that say they specialize in bankruptcy. I met with Mr Hutchinson first, then another then a phone consultation with 2 others over about a 4 week period. I decided on this office ultimately, but wish I had immediately. He is thorough, organized, not intimidating, and sensitive to your possibly overwhelming feelings about making this step. Everything he presented to me was clear and he gave me documents, checklists, timeframes, payment plans, and reasonable expectations. His pricing too was very fair relative to all the others I consulted with. His assistant Ali, seems to be a great “right hand” for Mr Hutchinson and was so helpful at every turn, especially keeping me on task with documentation deadlines and the like. If anyone ever asked me to make a referral for a bankruptcy attorney, I would go out of my way to recommend his office and tell them not to wait another day, thinking about it if trying to get 2-3 other offices to return calls or emails. I can't say how much I appreciated Mr. Hutchinson and how devoted he was in putting the time and effort working on my case; sometimes in circumstances that I could have prevented, myself. He was beyond professional, gave his honest opinions and suggestions, and never ever did he judge or belittle me in my circumstance. If you ever get into a situation where you need help and ask for advice, you should take time to reach out to Scott and his team.

Scott Hutchinson is a pro. He set us up for success from the start. My wife and I still fondly remember the meeting of creditors. The trustee had questions and objections to the other attorneys or self represented participants due to their unpreparedness. With Scott it was one and done. We sailed through and are still thankful we found him.
