Hired this "attorney?" for a child custody case for my daughter. Extremely unprofessional in her demeanor and attire. She charges $275.00 an hour for her services and will charge you for every little thing! During her/our first hearing with the judge, she was unable to even present her case after a combative attitude and heated arguments with the judge. Judge decided case without even speaking to my daughter, or any of her witnesses because of this. We fired her and her final bill was trumped up to squeeze out every last dime from us...Final cost: $5500.+ just up to the FIRST hearing! BUYER BEWARE, it is our opinion that it is all about running up the bill with her!

When we came to Shelley, we were desperate. My husband had been dealing with having his daughter withheld from him at random, and constant abusive text messages from his daughter's mother. His daughter was not in the greatest situation, and the judge was believing all of the lies that were being told to her for years upon years. Enough was enough! We searched and searched, Shelley came to the rescue! She gave us hope, and reminded my husband that he IS a good father, and deserves his daughter on a consistent basis. She gave specific guidance on how to organize information and give it to her. She did not make any open ended promises. Shelley is very black and white. She keeps it real. She isn't going to sugar coat things for you, or fluff things up to make them what they aren't. If she needs something or has a concern she will bring it to the appropriate person's attention in a professional manner. She helped make our family complete. She has been a great investment to our family, and gave us what we were not able to achieve on our own...our daughter. Not only was my husband granted more parenting time, but he was also granted sole custody. Now we can rest easy knowing that she is getting the BEST possible care and education, all thanks to Shelley Fuller! We love her!

Divorce is a scare thing I felt. But Shelly not only told me my rights as a wife but also made sure I understood them. My ex was not only violent but mentally and verbally aggressive. I was afraid. But Shelly reassured me that the law was there.... it gave me a great level of peace. She's amazing and I will always make sure people who need her know it!!!!

Was initially told by Shelley that the protective order filed against me was "thin" and easy to beat in court - so I hired her. Nothing was done in preparation for the hearing the week leading up to it. We met for 20 minutes the night before and I gave her a ton of evidence to support my case. None of that was reviewed until minutes before the trial. Most of Shelley's time was spent working with the other lawyer on dropping the restraining order in exchange for a solution that benefited my wife (what my wife and her attorney were going for in the first place and the reason the protective order was even filed). Shelley actually yelled at me outside the courtroom "I am trying to get your kids back! Let me do my job!" However, she did not do her job. My best interests were not considered. Just an easy way out and a quick $1000 in her pocket. I felt she backed down and didn't fight for me even though that is what she initially said she would do. My kids and house never should have been taken from me in the first place and the protective order was unjustified and frivolous. She should have easily been able to prove that in court. Now my wife has an extreme upper hand in the pending divorce case. I would not recommend. I believe another reviewer said something similar and I should have heeded their warning...

I hired Shelly to help my niece with a messy divorce - restraining orders, lies, arrest warrants - the works. She has been fantastic. Very knowledgeable and supportive. I'm so glad we found her.

I have retained Shelley Fuller for several different types of cases. I would not go anywhere else. She is thorough, persistent and professional. I have the utmost confidence in Shelley and her paralegal Tara.

Shelley heard about my situation--a debt that had gone bad after I was hit hard in the recession--and immediately jumped in to help me reach an agreement with the creditor. She knew what needed to be done and wasted little time in doing it. Her knowledge and negotiation skills kept things moving quickly, and the problem was resolved much more easily than it would have been had I tried to advocate for myself. Throughout it all, Shelley was warm, respectful, and understanding.

Working with Shelly and her team was seamless, they provided me with all of the facts up front so the process was super fast and easy. Would recommend Shelley to my friends & family.

I would not recommend her. We had a messy case that included evaluations and DHS and all the yuk that goes with a custody battle. She had no backbone, she would not fight back, she let the other lawyer just walk all over her. In the end she actually stated "this is too messy for me" and she recommended another attorney. All of that would have been fine if she had realized that before she got in so deep that to this day we are still paying for her mistakes.

Shelly was wonderful and very professional in handing the divorce and going through all our assets and working on the paper work . Shelly was very helpful with every change we made to our docs. Shelly also advised of a QDRO and without her I would not have known what I was entitled to. Shelly also gave us ideas about our parenting plan so it was fair. Tara her assistant always let me know where she was in the stage. I would recommend her and her team. Shelly is wonderful to work with.

My son retained Ms. Fuller four years ago to represent him in a very messy, complicated custody case involving multiple people and two states. She was excellent at keeping him informed and dealing with each unusual circumstance that arose, and there were many. Easy to get in contact with and answered the many questions that came up along the way. I myself had Ms. Fuller help with a landlord tenant matter that she addressed and settled immediately. I have recommended her many times and have had good feed back from those people as well I would gladly recommend her in the future.

Shelley did a great job. VERY knowledgable, persistant and professional. Agressive in handling my case and getting a much better than expected settlement. If I ever get injured again, she is my "go to" lawyer. (Her difficulty with the Bar Association -- which she was up-front in disclosing -- was a financial matter involving a former employee. As I understand it, it had nothing to do with the legal representation she provided to me and to all her other clients.) Give her a call if you need legal help. She also does criminal law and divorces. Very good.
