I am so thankful Fortress Financial called me to offer their services. Hiring them was one of the smartest things I have done this year! I am confident in the direction “my team” is heading. My case is extremely convoluted by multiple Revenue Officer assignments, tax examinations, and very aggressive collections. My attorney and his assistant (who I affectionately call “my team”) are attentive and prompt to correspondence received in their office, as well as any questions or concerns I have. They are awesome about working in tandem with my CPA as we try to sort out this mess. We aren’t anywhere near finished with my case . . . we are still in the middle of (yet another ) examination for which I will provide all of the requested documentation, as I have the last one . . . Also, I’m still waiting to receive the police report for the embezzlement which is a large part of the reason I even have a tax liability due to the IRS. I know I hired Fortress Financial to help resolve my company’s tax liabilities, but at Fortress, I have also found a friend in my attorney’s assistant. When I am stressed out about these tax matters, I can call her or drop her an email, and she lends a listening ear and offers me just the right type of encouragement, so I can find some peace of mind even in the craziness . . . I have a family . . . . heart failure at 34 would be a very bad thing! I adore these people, their integrity, faith and work ethic.

I received a letter from them recently about them helping me out about a tax lien from IRS after it was ALREADY settled months ago. WHAT A SCAM.

I was very happy with my interaction and decision to hire Fortress Financial Services, Inc. From the day I hired them, they showed me that they were reliable and creditable. They explained the process to me, made me feel that they did really care about me and my business and they always did what they said they would do . They handled everything just as they said they would. It was a relief that I no longer had to worry about the communication with the IRS or them just showing up at my doorstep. David and Lori handled the contact, negotiations and paperwork on my behalf which freed me up so I could concentrate on getting my business back on track. After the IRS came to our business and threatened to sell equipment we contacted another tax relief agency and was told nothing they could do after taking $5000. We then contacted Fortress Financial and the next day attorney Peter Brantley called and assured me he could help. Within 24 hours he had stopped harassing phone calls and visits. He worked on our behalf and negotiated a settlement. Anytime I had questions he or his assistant Heather Wilson returned our calls within the day. They always did what they said they would do. In my hour of desperate need, the people at Fortress Financial Services were both professional and courteous. John and Adrianne provided the answers and the help I needed when I needed them. They helped me finalize my business closure and navigate the matters regarding my personal and corporate liabilities with both the IRS and the EDD. John’s knowledge was invaluable and made winding through the intricacies of closing a corporation so much easier than doing it on my own. I could always count on a prompt response from John's assistant. When we found ourselves in need of advice in dealing with our IRS issues that were beyond our abilities and the abilities of our accountant, we contacted Fortress Financial Services, Inc. in Bend, OR and were put in touch with Mr. Dickman at their office. We found Mr. Dickman to be conversant in of the Internal Revenue Code Sections that addressed our issues. We agreed to a flat fee and to payment options which allowed us to continue to work with them. He and his assistant, Ms. Link, spent considerable time both by e-mail correspondence and on the phone with us, we are in CA they are in OR, discussing our issues. He showed personal concern about our status and was always honest in his assessment of our situation. He knew how to address the requests from the IRS and to tailor the responses to meet their demands. He was able to reach the necessary units of the Internal Revenue Service to find the answers to our unique and complicated issue. We were able, with his efforts, to come to a compromise and agreement with the IRS that we were able to live with. His generous giving of his personal time and efforts were very professional and compassionate with effective results. Although he is not required to keep in contact with us since the issues have been resolved, he sends a friendly "hello" to see how we are doing. Hopefully, we will not need his services again, but if the need arose, we would use their company.

Fortress Financial Services will take your money and lead you on for years, then after the IRS is totally furious over your case, Fortress Financial Services Inc., will ask for more money or threaten to no longer represent you. Seriously check them out before you contract with their services
