We met with Attorney Joel Smith today to go over concerns that we have about our Mom's assets and being taken advantage of because she has Alzheimer's. We provided him with a list of our concerns in which he addressed each issue very thoroughly and left us feeling confident that we have enough information to move forward and protect our Mom. He seems to be very knowledgeable and was very kind. I would definitely go back to him with any legal issues that I have.

I had an initial consultation with Joel Smith regarding whether to probate the estate of my elderly mother's deceased partner. I greatly appreciate the advice I received and would strongly recommend this law firm.

I have never been treated so poorly. Met with Scott, no word for 3 months. I left messages for an update, no call back. Called again expressed how unhappy I was and nothing! I finally said taking business elsewhere I was then promised the work would be done. Made an appt to come back in, that morning received a call work wasn't done. Scott wanted to do a conference call because he needed to be reminded of the details of the work we wanted. Scott never called, missed the appt. Got a call at the end of the day from Amy wanting to reschedule. I was never given a reason why Scott blew us off. Unbelievable terrible service. I told them to forget it! I cant make any more excuses for such horrible service!!

I needed a lawyer that could take on all of our needs. 1. Protecting my mother who suffers from multiple sclerosis for twenty one years, and in more and more need of medical care. 2. Protecting our land that's been in the family since the late 1800s. 3. Protecting the family members who gave up everything for the care of my mother and our family heritage. It's scary for everyone involved. Scott's people skills and keen knowledge of the law are above and beyond. He managed to do the impossible, getting everyone on the same page, agree, and legally securing the future for everyone. I never once had issues getting ahold of his office and he works with you personally. I wish I could giving him and his staff more than 5 stars.

Their care coordinator, Kim has helped me and my family twice with developing a plan for both my father in law and my father.
For my father in law, she helped my husband and his siblings in navigating the extremely confusing and heart wrenching path to find a memory care facility, how to select one, how to deal with the financial aspects of providing for his care knowing the available resources and tools to ensure he receives the best possible care.
For my own father, she helped him, my sister and me figure out resources that would enable him to live in his own home safely for as long as possible (extremely important to him & us). When it was time to qualify him for hospice care, she helped us through that process. He ended up passing very peacefully in January. While his death is a profound loss for us, knowing that he was treated with such dignity and respect and that he wss so well cared for means the world to us.
Without Kim's help, I don't know what my sister & I would have done in our Dad's last days. Also without her help, I don't think my husband's family would be so confident that my father in law is receiving all the care he needs in such a loving and compassionate way.
She treats everyone with respect, works hard to preserve their dignity and does it all with the utmost compassion.
I am truly blessed to have had her help with these amazing men who shaped so many lives.
