This is the worst attorney I’ve ever dealt with. Kolego seemed more focused on taking my money than helping with my case. From day one, it felt like he was working against me, not for me. He barely communicated, never provided a clear plan, and dragged everything out. Instead of fighting for me, he actually suggested giving up. Don’t waste your time or money on him—find someone who will actually advocate for you.

I’ve had 2 short consults with him and my friends have hired him before. He is a busy man but he will help you if he can, his retainers are reasonable compared to others, he’s experienced and has been on big cases and he will be straight up and honest in making sure to answer you’re questions. I wasn’t sure the first time, but I do like him. Hire him up!

I found Andrew when every other lawyer was busy and I needed someone for a serious charge that was my first time offense he took my case and was very affordable and has a wealth of knowledge he helped put my life back together and was never to busy to answer my questions and was there every step of the way with me helped me keep my job and navigate the very confusing justice system and went above and beyond ever after my case was resolved I can’t say enough good things about him and his assistant gina. I recommend him to everyone and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again Andrew is a wonderful person and andrew can get my my charge expunged in 3 years I would highly highly recommend him to anyone

This guy brushes you off after getting your fees. He is also scared of law enforcement. Don't expect much.

Worst experience of a defense attorney I have ever seen! All he is about is getting the money , he did not do his job what so ever.. he did not try to prove our case or object to anything. Very disappointing. After loosing the case he had zero sympathy for the family and the journey we are about to face.. do not recommend! 40k for nothing

John Kolego is the best lawyer I’ve ever met in my life. He treats his clients with respect and is always going above and beyond his duty . He is always able to be reached and truly fights for the innocent , I would highly recommend him to anyone and not think twice . And his secretary Gina is a wonderful person and very professional. They care about people not money .

I’d give less stars if I could. John Kolego is a scumbag who will take your money without doing the work he was paid to do. He’ll let an innocent person rot in prison due to his failings and fight any possibility of them getting out after instructing you to fight this way. This wasn’t just my experience, I’ve met others with the same experience with John. You’d be better off flushing the tens of thousands of dollars down the toilet.

By far the best attorney EVER!!! Gives a great deal about his clients and there charges. It was by far the best interaction with the court system and it was all due to him… Recommend 1000 times!!!!

Being counseled by John was an amazing legal experience. He showed his proficiency in my case like a true professional . Very smart individual. He’s excellent at letting you know exactly what’s on the table. I was not very knowledgeable about court lingos/etiquettes. John made sure to make everything clear.
