Mr Veralrud responded the day after I posted my request. He explained that it would be a difficult case to prove and probably would not be worth pursuing.

Greg Veralrud exceeded our expectations! Sometimes law enforcement and Prosecutors are so eager for a "win" that they don't do their due diligence in uncovering ALL the facts about a case. When this happens, lives and reputations can be compromised or even ruined. Thanks to Mr. Veralrud and his incredibly professional assistant Terri, we received an outcome with absolutely no charges. This was fair and what we hoped for but did not expect when the case started. He is very knowledgeable, committed, respectful, thorough, strategic and results oriented. Greg has helped my family whenever we got into some legal troubles. This time he had to help me with a huge traffic offense as I decided not to pull over for the police when I was on my motorcycle and eventually got caught. 4 charges got dropped down to one and I got the bare minimum fine and minimum probation period.
