On August 10th, 2003, just four days after my 28th birthday, my life was permanently altered by a reckless and violent, drug-induced, drunk driver who crashed head-on and into my car. Everyone in the vehicle was injured, with my injuries being the most severe. I suffered a complete spinal cord injury, which changed everything in my life in an instant. Nearly 17 years later, I remain paralyzed from the chest down, and on that day, I not only lost my ability to walk but my ability to do the field engineer work I once loved so much. In these unpredictable and devastating moments in life, it is essential to surround yourself with people you can trust. My physical rehabilitation was a long road, and as if that wasn’t hard enough, I also had to figure out how I was going to support myself financially. As someone who worked in a physically demanding job, with a lot of international travel, I had no idea how to move forward with my life or what I would be capable of achieving in the future. I can honestly say, I feel so fortunate to have had the legal guidance of Don Carson. Don not only professionally represented me, but he was relentless in settling an agreement that would help assist me financially. He put his heart and soul into helping me achieve the best outcome and, in many ways, offered tremendous emotional support that went way beyond his call to a legal duty. My reliance upon him, both professionally and emotionally, should not be understated. With his expertise, I was able to receive a financial settlement for my lifelong medical bills as well as a path forward to make a living and successfully support myself. Don is not only a brilliant lawyer; he is honest and trustworthy and committed to doing the best for his clients, even in the most challenging circumstances. With Don at the helm, you will not only have the most capable legal guidance but someone who cares about your overall well-being. I give him my highest recommendation.

Jill is amazing at what she does and is really thorough with explaining the whole process of going through the FormIt program if you’re looking to start your business on the right foot. It’s an investment in yourself/business and if you’re anything like me, it definitely takes the stress off your shoulders. I was looking to start my LLC for a little over a year and kept pushing it back due to being overwhelmed from all the information I see online, but I’m so glad I found the Business Law Centre and Jill really took care of it for me.

Jill Featherstonhaugh of Business Law Centre has been my business attorney for more than18 years. Having employed more than 1,200 personnel my agency required significant legal counsel. Jill and her staff were always available and provided a personalized service that is likely unattainable to businesses even those those with in house counsel. I recently sold my business. Jill and staff held my hand every step of the way. I cannot put into words the gratitude I have for the years of 5 star service I received from this law firm. Wether you are a start up or an established business, I highly recommend you consider Business law Centre for your legal needs.

If I could give 10 stars out of five, I would. I was involved in a civil case in which my 15 year old son was expected to testify. My son was very nervous about this and so was I. Brad Litchfield accepted the case and we feel so fortunate to have been in his care. I feel certain my case was not the most important matter in his caseload, but he always made me and my son feel as though it was. It was a great pleasure to meet him and to see how professionally and empathetically he handled our case. He is clearly a caring and compassionate person and was respectful to everyone involved. Importantly, I appreciate that he at all times made my son feel informed, at ease, safe, and cared for. And, of course, he won our case!

I spent $10,000 while brad Litchfield investigated "what happened". And then , at his suggestion and my expense, he hired an "expert" for $5000 and an investigator for 4 more thousand. $25,000 later , the lawyer I ended up with told me in 2 minutes, that "what happened" is not even permissible in court, only whether or not I am an employer. So all that "investigating was a little prematture. And in fact, was never used. Brad must have figured that out at some point because he never even listened to the tapes from the investigator. ( at least I didn't see it in the list of what he did in the bills) When I called Brad asking him if it s true that workers comp had paid the claimant- Jeff- money, instead of calling workers comp to find out, he called the claimants lawyer who misinformed him and he then he misinformed me. Brad had me also hire Zack as an expert on workers claim. I ended up spending a bunch of money as they conferred with each other. I thought it was a little crazy and brad told me that no one specializes in both, that I really have to pay "double, essentially- as they conferred with each other, both came to meetings to tell me what was going on, etc. and I had to have both of them cause they each had different information. Another thing I do not think was true. But I felt a little captivated because they knew so much. Little did I know that most of what " they knew" was irrelevant. At least 4 times, I told him that even tho the claimant's lawyer told him something , I still believed that claimantthe hadn't gotten any money and asked him to check. At least 4 times he said he would and didn't. Then, Brad and Zack spent more money and came up with what they called the "donut hole". Which essentially means, I believe, that if I can settle before workers comp pays out, they they do not need to be involved. After already asking 3 times, brad said "both Zack and I will call the next working day." I don't know if Zack did , but Brad certainly did not. Zack called and said he never heard back. But when my mom called, they called her back the next day . And when I called , they also called me the next day. I finally got the information I had been asking the lawyers when after asking for months , I finally called and got the information I needed in less than 24 hours from the time I decided to find out. But it was too late by then. I also asked repeatedly if "facts matter" because I spent hours piecing the information together. They don't and I never found that out until my newest lawyer, bill told me. In the meantime., Brad sent the information I pieced together to see if the "expert" agreed. He did and charged me another $500. Not that it matters. ( as well, of course of the price of sending the info ,reading the response and forwarding it to me. When Brad talked to the claimant's lawyer, he gave him a couple of money amounts that I would be responsible for. I asked him what those amounts meant . After asking a few times , he said he didn't know. Or maybe that was Zack. Anyway, no one knew. Brad made a date to have a mediation, with the claimant's lawyer, the claimant's lawyer gave a beginning settlement amount that was astounding. I said I didn't know if I would walk into a mediation starting at that amount. Brad shared that with the lawyer who said essentially, don't worry. And he passed that onto me When my new lawyer, bill came on., within a week, he called the claimant's lawyer and they agreed to a lower beginning price. He said he was having a little extra problem because Zack didn't write a "contest" correctly, which was hindering a bit. So I spent over $30,000 and a year before I quit with Brad litchfield and Zack Mittge. My new lawyer is about one third, and in a few months settled the case for less than half of what these guys were suggesting,

Everett is a class act. When dealing with Everett he is straight forward and honest. He doesn't play games with you or your emotions. I have used him several times and he consistently performs. He is nice, kind and considerate which make dealing with him a pleasure.
