Lara has been such a huge help in my financial disaster. I am so thankful for her, and I would recommend her 100% to all my friends and family walking thru financial distress. She knows how to make you feel at ease, without judgement and gets the job done efficiently. Hands down, she is the best bankruptcy attorney I have ever worked with. She is truly the best!

Lara Gardner is as good at being a bankruptcy attorney as I imagine it's possible for someone to be. When I was drowning in credit card bills, my income staying a millimeter ahead of my monthly credit card debt, I finally hit the point where pride gets swallowed. I googled bankruptcy attorneys, and Lara turned out to be a godsend. You think bankruptcy is some sort of shame in your life (we've all been taught that, by the banks) and she has a brilliant "bedside manner" when it comes to these anxieties you're feeling. If you don't recognize how important this is, look for someone who doesn't have that bedside manner and get back to me. She gets it, and she is the absolute quintessential Platonic ideal of 'on your side.' Long story short, she is a consummate professional and at the same time incredibly down-to-earth. She is just a super good person who is also a wonderful attorney. Fair warning though: When you meet with her, her adorable child might ask you to look at some bead art.

Lara is the finest attorney I've ever spent any time with. Look, of course anytime we spend our time with attorneys, something in our lives has gone wrong. Just from her personal demeanor, Lara made this experience so painless. I know we all have this sort of societally-induced revulsion against bankruptcy, but Lara made everything so easy. She's such a kind and caring person, and she's on your side. If you're thinking about bankruptcy, you're probably a good candidate, and I can't imagine anyone being better at this than her. Highly recommend.
