Look it is simple people don't like hearing the truth sometimes! Me personally i do, and Amanda Thorpe delivered that to me time and time again during my divorce proceedings. Did i get everything i wanted from my divorce? Absolutely not! But Amanda fought for me and i appreciate her and the Cauble firm. Bottom line is divorces are messy as well as the legal system. I would and will recommend the Cauble Firm & Amanda Thorpe to others seeking legal advice.

I recently needed an attorney and hired Amanda Thorpe. This was based on a referral from another attorney that did not specialize in that particular type of law. Very pleased I did. Amanda was very easy to work with and really knew her craft. She is a straight shooter, tells it like it is and clearly has a high intellect (which I think is quality number one when seeking legal help). Throughout the process I was constantly impressed with how Ms. Thorpe dealt with me and in interactions with opposing council. My matter was resolved in a fashion better than I expected or even hoped. I highly recommend Amanda Thorpe and have actually done so. She is a genuinely friendly person, fun at times, not an ounce of arrogance and I never felt spoken down to. Lawyers are expensive so get your money's worth, I did.

My legal experience with using Amanda Thorpe was not satisfactory and caused me detrimental financial repercussions. I was disappointed and dissatisfied, her personal demeanor is quite off-putting and she passes alot of personal judgement. I have no experience with the rest of the firm, the front desk staff was pleasant as were the support staff. In response to the company: It doesn't serve you well to respond negatively and with personal attack of the reviewer, it makes you look even less proffesional and a bit spiteful. Amanda Thorpe was not at all proffesional with me. I wont lay out personal immorality because this is just a review of services rendered, or the lack of. I know all women, even Amanda have a hard time navigating divorce. That should not reflect in your work if you are a proffesional, its not unprofessional to be kind to other humans. It is out of kindness that this review is proffesional and not personal, if it were it would reflect much more than it does.

When I needed to find a probate attorney in some proximity to Port Orford, Oregon, I turned to Google and found Chris Cauble, esq., in Grants Pass. I relied on the reviews here, and I was not disappointed. While we were not able to ever meet in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chris and his paralegal, Carla, were available by phone and email. They were both professional and helpful, and kept costs to a minimum, which my sisters and I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend their services.

"We take ratings without identifying information or specific comments as simply a means of harassment." Is this enough public information for you to not break out the "harassment" card? Funny a firm full of lawyers claiming harassment. CHRISTOPHER CAUBLE OSB #962374 Grants Pass 45-day suspension Effective Dec. 11, 2013, a trial panel of the disciplinary board suspended Grants Pass lawyer Christopher Cauble for 45 days for violation of RPC 1.7(a)(2) (current client conflict of interest) and RPC 1.15-1(a) (duty to safeguard client property). Cauble had no prior record of discipline. Cauble defended a client against a plaintiff’s claims that the client had negligently, illegally or fraudulently invested funds intended to be used in loans for home construction. On behalf of his client, Cauble sought indemnification from the title company involved in the loan transactions in the event the client was found liable for losses suffered by the plaintiff. Several additional investors who lost funds that Cauble’s client had invested on their behalf consulted Cauble about the prospect of suing the title company. Cauble represented the additional investors against the title company without securing the informed consent of all his clients regarding the significant risk that his representation of the additional investors would be materially limited by his responsibilities to the first client and vice versa. The panel found that although Cauble limited the scope of his representation to taking action against the title company, that limitation did not obviate the need to obtain informed consent regarding the conflict between the interests of the first client and the additional investors that arose from legitimate claims the additional investors might have had against the first client. The additional investors advanced funds to pay Cauble’s fees for pursuing their claims against the title company. Relying upon direction from the first client as spokesperson for the additional investors, Cauble used funds advanced by the additional investors to pay past due legal fees owed by the first client. The panel found that Cauble’s personal interests in obtaining fees from the multiparty litigation and getting the first client’s past due fees paid created a significant risk that the representation of the additional investors would be materially limited. The panel also found that although Cauble’s work for the first client was of some value to the additional investors due to common issues, Cauble negligently failed to safeguard the funds advanced by the additional investors when he used those funds to pay the first client’s fees. The panel ordered restitution pro rata to each of the additional investors for their funds used to pay the fees of the first client.

Chris Cauble and his assistant Carla Winkler handled a probate case for me. This was a particularly challenging case, as there was an estranged, VERY difficult family member causing A LOT of problems. I also live out of state. Can't say enough about how well Chris Cauble (and Carla) handled our case. They made everything very simple, and handled ALL of the challenges both for the probate, and the challenges outside the boundaries of normal duties. I was especially surprised at how knowledgeable Chris Cauble is about the parts of this case that were outside the normal boundaries (and there were many). Chris and Carla handled everything for me, so I didn't have to fly back and forth. You are in exceptionally good hands here... Trust me.

I had an awful experience with Amanda Thorpe, she is so rude and judgmental, I paid a consultation fee to be insulted. Not helpful at all. Pass on this one.
