I had the best experience of all time working with Annalise! She kept me level headed when my requests were a little over the top, and helped me get a parenting schedule that is in the best interest of my daughter. She is highly professional and she knows family law like the back of her hand. I couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer. She’s savvy, firm, fare, and works hard to get what you need!

I found myself going through a very difficult divorce from a verbally abusive husband of 18 years. I had first attempted mediation and after 3 months I realized that the mediator did not really have my best interests because he had to remain neutral. I realized that I needed an advocate for me and my kids who would not back down. I found ANNALISE LANG. I remember telling her at our first meeting that I needed her to be a bulldog- someone who will not back down and be my voice when I could not speak for myself. She listened to my story. The process was much longer than either of us expected, but she never gave up and stuck it out with me - and it was not pretty. I feel that her determination and drive to keep pushing helped me during the most difficult time of my life. Chris Fanning handled my divorce. He was easy to talk to. I felt comfortable with him from the moment we met. He listened to me and told me what to expect in the divorce proceeding. He presented a fair proposal to my wife and so her lawyer could not make any major changes. I was able to accept the final proposal with little anxiety because there was very little deviation from the original proposal. Covid 19 made the process longer than expected. Chris communicated with me during this whole process. I was able to talk to him by phone or by person whenever I needed to. I felt his fees were reasonable. He only charged me the time he spent on the case. I was charged only 15 minutes if that is all we talked. He and his team were there for me every step during the process.

Laura Schantz was everything I could have hoped for: experienced, honest, kind, forthcoming and fair. She wasn't out to destroy the other party, she was interested in fairness and the wellbeing of our children. She listened carefully to understand the situation and my needs. She gave me realistic expectations about outcome and timeline. She was straightforward with me when she thought I it would be more productive to give in on an issue and she was firm with the other side when she needed to be. She was quick and precise in her responses to my questions...I never had to wait to hear from her. She checked in with me a couple of times after the rather ugly divorce and has helped me with small issues related to custody and parenting. Although we were up against an expensive, aggressive lawyer, I feel like she took control of the situation with by being unflappable and reasonable. The support staff were also excellent, kind and timely in their response. Laura's colleagues, when she was on vacation, covered for her efficiently and effectively. Laura Schantz's work is one of the few things that make me look back on a terrible period in may life with a sense of faith in humanity. With Laura I felt it was possible for decency to prevail. I have complete trust in Laura and her firm.
