I've consulted many attorneys over the years and Laura and her team are by far the best. I found them to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, patient and compassionate in explaining my best options. They were always there with a tissue for my tears and suggestions to make my life going forward as productive and smooth a transition as possible. Tonya Alexander and her staff were amazing at helping my ex husband and I get our divorce papers processed. We had a very amicable separation. We wanted to ensure the attorney we hired understood that this was to be drama free. We did not want a lawyer coming in and creating trouble where none was to be found for their own personal gain. The kitchen table style divorce that Tonya offers is amazing! We sat down reviewed the paperwork and she helped answer a few questions. Her team promptly filed the paperwork and kept in constant communication on how the filing was proceeding. Went to Schantz after my original attorney left the firm she had been with when she represented me. Chris at Schantz kept things from returning to court, worked things to my advantage, which saved me money.

Annalise was professional and efficient throughout the proceedings, however I learned the hard way that negotiating is not a particular strength of hers. After making no attempt to settle the case, we went to mediation without even a list of objectives. She was overly deferential to the mediator, and as a result my ex-wife got a vast majority of the parenting time, her pick of the marital assets, and spousal support at the high-end of guidelines. I probably could have gotten a better result at a trial.

Tonya and her staff were amazing...they made an intimidating process seem so simple. Everything was completed more quickly than I expected, and everyone we worked with went above and beyond to be helpful and make sure that our questions were answered. I highly recommend Alexander Law!
