My son was recently represented by Terisa Page Gault on his Social Security disability claim. I am a retired attorney myself and I assisted my son in obtaining an attorney for this purpose. Terisa was recommended to me another attorney whose judgment I trust. I cannot overstate what a terrific attorney Ms. Gault is. Social Security disability claims are often handled by law firms in large numbers with much of the work being done by paralegals and clerical staff. It is not uncommon that such clients receive little personal attention and, because the fees are essentially set by regulations, there is sometimes little financial incentive for law firms to devote significant time and attention to individual clients and cases. Ms. Gault was exceptional in distinguishing herself from that pattern. First of all, she is extremely knowledgable in her area of expertise. She has a wealth of experience in this area. Second, Ms. Gault is a very intelligent individual who is unusually capable of explaining things clearly and thoroughly, both to the client and to the administrative law judge. Third, we always communicated directly with Ms. Gault. We were never diverted to support staff. Ms. Gault was always available to answer questions and always responded to email messages within 24 hours. Her responses to questions and her explanations were always thoughtful and appropriately detailed. Each and every communication with Ms. Gault evidence her commitment to ensure that Chris understood everything. There was never an occasion in which she conveyed any impatience or any desire to dispose of questions or concerns as quickly as possible. Everything that Ms. Gault did, wrote and said conveyed her genuine concern for Chris. It is difficult to imagine any lawyer doing a better job of conveying to a client the security that the client's case is the most important matter to the attorney. I recommend her without reservation. In fact, I cannot recommend her to any potential client more enthusiastically and confidently than I do.
