Justin took on a big old mess for us and helped us to navigate a tough system. His staff is always there to not only provide guidance, but a supportive ear. He’s the last guy you’d want to get in an argument with, which is exactly what you’re looking for.

After reading Justin's reviews in late 2023 I made the mistake of hiring this firm. 7500 was my total and I put 5000 down immediately to retain his services. Services for what? Wrongful incarceration as they had my husband extradited from TX to OR to find out they had the wrong person! Mr. Rosas assured me he could handle this case easily and get us our lives back. This was entirely a joke as he couldn't even keep communication or any of the promised appointment times. He came highly recommended, and I have never been more disappointed in services received in regards to someone's freedom. Once we finally got my husband out, without his help, he went to Mr. Rosas office daily just to find closed signs on the door. Countless unreturned phone calls. Lies on top of lies. No legal representation when it came to any hearings. Absolutely nothing. He knew exactly what to say to get my money and was MIA from that point on. He knew I was in the worst position of my entire life and he took it for everything he could. I wish I would have seen real honest reviews before hiring him and not just what he probably has people post on the Internet. Please go elsewhere if you care about your money or freedom. I highly doubt you will ever respond to this review, Mr. Rosas, but I really hope you're happy with what you didn't do for my family. I hope you never have to go through what you put us through as clients. I have contemplated countless times turning you into the state BAR as I have everything documented to this very day. You should honestly be ashamed at what you didn't do for us as clients. In response to your reply, you indeed didn't have a sign on the door, just no one in the office at any time. I understand your need to defend yourself, but I also have proof of your many unreturned phone calls as well as never made appointments. You can justify yourself all that you would like to make yourself feel better about a situation but you completely let me down on more occasions than once. To the point that your secretary even said she didn't understand why I wasn't getting returned calls and that this was out of character. This post was made nearly a year later because I made attempts to allow you to correct these problems hoping you would do so. In regards to listing my husbands legal issues on a public platform and stating his "felony in Josephine county" I so appreciate the amount of professionalism you have displayed in client confidentiality. Also, your blatant lies about meeting him "face to face" are nothing but lies. You never went and saw him as you claimed you would do multiple times and have never seen after. Again, whatever you need to say to make yourself feel better about yourself. I hope that it helps.

Even one star is more than deserved. I'll keep this as brief as possible. I was accused & charged with a crime I did not & would never commit. At that time, I had a completely clean record (save for traffic tickets). I believed my innocence would be easy to prove, but the PD wouldn't hear me & only urged me to accept the DA's deal. But being innocent, how could I accept any deal or concede guilt! That would be, imo, an act against the rule of law, and cowardice. So, I began my mission by acquiring dozens of statements, letters and other documents to show my character wouldn't allow me to do what I was accused of. Justin was rated the #2 criminal defense lawyer by Google. The #1 lawyer (Nathan Wendt I believe) was significantly more expensive back then. But it took every possible resource I had to afford Justin, so hiring the #1 wasn't feasible. I figured it would be an easy win anyways tho. Wrong! Had I known, I would have done whatever it took to hire the #1 guy, or just hire literally anyone else. Sequence of events- Once I obtained enough funds to retain Justin Rosa's, I met him and explained my situation & goal to be exonerated. He agreed to represent me, and seemed confident in our success, so I paid him. Over 2.5yrs passed until my trial. During that time, my accuser continued living as they had for the majority of their adult life, racking up all kinds of charges, being in and out of jail etc. I on the other hand had my whole reality turned upside down. I became a target for discrimination & frequent harassment by GP PD, who's only data on me was the false accusation. (the officers involved have since lost their badges). I endured many other hardships & much loss during this time. Feeling trapped, vulnerable and under constant threat, with no support or protection, I eventually became paralyzed with fear, depression & hopelessness. My only comfort, a fantasy of being found innocent and gtfo of that environment. Unfortunately, I discovered relief from the pain with drugs. Making everything much worse. (today I'm clean, in therapy, healing & getting better every day.) But, I digress. With less than 1.5hrs til my trial, Justin called saying he JUST watched the video of the police responding to the 911 call & he thinks I should accept the DA's deal, because he wasn't sure he could successfully defend me. So after taking thousands of dollars to defend me, with 2.5yrs to prep, he reviewed a critical piece of evidence only hrs before he was on deck? He claimed he was unprepared because I didn't maintain close contact with him over the 2.5yr wait...but he had that video along with every detail, document & piece of evidence needed to prove my innocence the whole time. I've met people who attest to his skills. However, he tried to throw them under the bus last minute too. They had more insight than me and didn't just go along with it like I did tho. This was my 1st time in court, so I didn't think I had the option to reject his suggestion or that I'd be wise to do so. He refunded me $100 (an insult really), but the actual cost for me was more than I can recover. Go with Wendt or rep yourself even ! You'll be MUCH better off. Justin rips people off and has no respect for his clients or anyone for that matter, reminds me of a spoiled mommy boy. Do yourself a favor and don't hire an idiot like this.
