Karen Oakes literally saved the day! while going through escrow I was informed there was a lien against me, I tried contacting the lawyer who did my bankruptcy for 2 weeks when I finally was able to get through I was told I would have to go to small claims court. The assistant suggested I call Karen Oakes. The day before closing I called and was transferred directly to her, She listened and said not to worry she would take care of it! The next morning the title company called to let me know I was a home owner and that they had a check for me in the amount of the lien! My only regret is that I did not go with her originally! Completing a family trust during a pandemic seemed a bit daunting, but Karen and her staff made it simple. We could not meet in person but via telephone and email all the necessary paperwork and detailed instructions were sent to me. I was able to complete all in my own time and schedule. The first lawyer I went to made a mess of my chapter 7 paperwork and filed everything incorrectly. After the hearing the court wrote a letter to my lawyer saying that I needed to provide more documentation but he didn't know what to do. That's when I found Karen. She helped immensely! She was patient with me and helped me understand the severity of the situation and the amount of money it would cost to fight further. Two years later when I lost my job due to illness she helped me filed for Chapter 7. I'm so thankful to Karen and all the care and consideration she took with me. It was a very difficult and stressful time in my life and I appreciate what she did very much.

Payments to the trustee are manageable, I'm able to pay the remaining bills, buy groceries, fuel, etc., and still have a little left over for emergencies, incidentals, etc. She and her staff answered all of my questions without hesitation and guided me through the whole process.
