This woman is a thief!!! RUN AND FIND A REAL LAWYER. She was hired by the Clackamas County court house and she threw me to the wolfs She never answers her phone and I will be contacting the state bar to file a formal complaint as soon as I post this review This is a warning to all in need ofa good attorney RUN

Shannon has helped me on more than one occasion. Every time, she has been responsive and compassionate. From establishing my family trust, will and other personal documents to handling probate after the loss of a loved one. I can count on Shannon and so can you! .

Hi Shannon, I hope all is well with you. I've been reflecting on this past year and what has happened since going to jail on 6/22/23. First I started looking for jobs has a Project Manager. but no one would even look at my resume unless I had a PNP Certification from the Project Management Institute, whatever that is. One year later, I've been studying since August and with my background have been accepted to take the PNP Exam. I will be passing the test next Thursday. With this certification I will be qualified to manager any project worldwide from my home office (excluding N. Korea, China, etc). The salaries for a certified Project Manager are in the 6 figures. Getting that DUI has sent me down a path that I didn't even know existed. I just wanted to say Thank You So Much for everything you did that helped me to have this excellent outcome. We hired Shannon on 2 separate occasions. One legal and one personal. In both situations, Shannon was always available and quick to respond to questions and concerns. For our personal situation, she walked us through the process and made it so much easier. During the legal situation, she was proactive and provided us with information as to what to expect and what we could hope for. She was always there for us and had our back. I would recommend her to anyone!

I was in a unfamiliar and tough period in my life and facing some scary things. I didn't know Shannon before, yet I felt that I could trust her. After she started representing me on a criminal matter, she was there by my side with no judgment. She fought for me and did an amazing job representing me. Later on, I asked her for help on another matter. She did way more than I expected. I've dealt with a lot of different attorneys over my years. Best way I can share is this: From my experience, Shannon has the heart of a mother bear and the knowledge and willingness to fight for her client. She is honest, hardworking, and is one of the few that still cares. She is my first call, without question.

I wanted to share my experience with Shannon kemetic her amazing investigator Kim and the outstanding advocacy I received from my "court appointed attorney", first I must unfortunately admitt I've had a few court appointed attorneys and they have been absolute nightmares actually taking naps as my case was unfolding, instead of advocating for me, I think all situations, with a few exceptions, have two sides to the story, and when you walk in the court the States side is always against you with legally binding fees, fines ,sentences and so on and if you don't have a highly knowledgeable proficient attorney standing between you and the Abyss you may find yourself swirling down one of Clackamas County jails steel toilet bowls or worse. Both Shannon and Kim worked with efficiently and expertise to solve my situation to the best conclusion. On that note prior to trial after being released I was able to look up reviews on my attorney ,I found them to be unfavorable, again I want to say there are two sides of every story and there is the adage,that if someone has a bad experience they'll tell 100 people they know and even don't, and if someone has a good experience they'll usually tell one person, well I want to tell everyone that I would disregard the negative reviews and go with the positive because as I was lucky in drawing her firm as my attorneys, Shannon &co. may not have been as lucky drawing those people as clients.So thank you Shannon and Kim appreciate both of you!! I also read the reviews and agree with the client who stayed the course. Shannon is very competent. She was easily accessible by phone. I received several phone calls and emails. Shannon Kmetic was my court appointed attorney. I looked her up and read all the awful reviews about her and my first instinct was to request another attorney but the timing of my hearing and my out of state residency made it difficult to do. I was able to contact her without much effort and she returned my calls and communicated promptly with every question I asked. She was able to go to court on my behalf without my being present and did the unimaginable and was able to get my probation revoked without any sanction. I never even had to come back to Oregon for any of my hearings. I thought for sure I would have jail time and she was able to do what I never thought was possible. I’m grateful for her and am completely satisfied with her representation. She contacted my witnesses without any problem and followed through with everything she said she would. Thanks Shannon!

I would definitely not recommend Shannon as an attorney. Her lack of attention to detail cost me thousands of dollars. I feel her lack of professionalism in the courtroom also added to my losses. As a self-employed person, my time is valuable. She no-showed me for multiple appointments at her office, showing a total disrespect for my time. I would offer an old saying; "you get what you pay for." Her rates might seem reasonable but not worth the risk.

In three years since she's been appointed to me. She has NEVER returned ANY calls or notes I've left for her. She treats me horribly! Like I'm a piece of trash. She has never once sat down at talked to me about my case in three years. She NEVER would show up at my court days. except A few times to change the date of my court date and then I would never hear from her!

Scheduled a consult with her, which was difficult to get as she never returned calls. Should have been the first red flag. Was extremely unprofessional. Everything she suggest was aimed at causing more confrontation to an already hard situation. You can tell she is in this for the money and not for servicing her client's needs or wants. Definitely has her own agenda. Turns out she's been suspended in the past. Do your homework before hiring her!
