I talked to Squire Bozorth twice on the phone and he was extremely rude, abrupt and completely inaccurate on the details of the case. I wanted to meet in person to go over the case which included photos that I printed, plus a video. He was doing everything he could to keep me on the phone and not meet in person. He never let me finish talking, but finally agreed to meet. I found out that I could tell him to file a motion to withdraw my case. He was obligated to do so and the judge approved it.

Squire represented me on an extremely nuanced case and completely failed to come up with any sort of strategic defense. He doesn’t listen on phone calls and his written responses are akin to that of an unintelligible community college student. He’s a lazy lawyer, constantly late and unprepared, was often reprimanded by the presiding judge for his tardiness and lack of preparedness in court. Complete waste of time and money, would have been better off seeing to things myself and wish I would have. He’s not held in high regard by his own office and can’t tell you the last time he actually won a case that went to trial. Advice? Just retire already.

He represented me on a misd harassment charge. He Is a former prosecuter with connections here in Portland. He gave advice which led to a charge of contempt of court. Furthermore, he failed to disclose any evidence that the da had. Extremely rude and either incompetent or sabotaging.

I hired Squire Bozorth after I had a negative experience with one of Portland's highest rated expungement attorneys on Google. My previous attorney had helped me expunge some felonies from my past so I could restore my gun rights not have travel restrictions. She failed to take care of one of the cases thoroughly and a felony still remained on my record after paying her fees and her closing my case. This gaff cost me contact from the police and a warning issued about possession of firearms. She said she would take care of it and look into it but never returned my calls or emails and stonewalled me after taking thousands in attorney fees. Very frustrating. I asked around and got referrals from people who may be able to help me fix this matter and Squire's name came up from a few people with high recommendations so I gave him a call. It was a pretty complex issue that required the highest level of experience to figure out. The State Police and courthouse were not even sure how to explain how to fix it. Squire quickly and easily identified the mistake the other attorney had made and got right into action of filing motions and resolved the issue. I wish I would have gone to him from the get go as his fees are very reasonable for the level of experience and professionalism he brings to the table. He knows the law very well and was much quicker in getting the results I desired than the other attorney I had hired. If you are in need of expungements or criminal defense and trying to choose between a few attorneys I would like to save you some time and heartache and tell you just hire Squire. You will be thankful you did. Don't waste thousands like I did. I wish I would have come to Avvo first and not relied on Google for reviews.

Mr. Bozorth was tremendous in helping me with my case. He was responsive to any questions or concerns I had, he stayed on top of things and was very professional. Things looked bleak, but Mr. Bozorth didn't judge me for being in the position that I was in. Instead, he approached it like it was his job and he was able to get my case wrapped up with a resolution I can live with. Now I can go on living my life.

In 1996 during a work trip in Portland I received a DUII by the OSP. Unfortunately for me living out of state at the time it was difficult to travel back and forth to Oregon to deal with my DUII, so I just stayed out of Oregon. Flash forward 15 years, during one of my weekly overnight visits to Oregon from Wa I was pulled over again by Portland Police and I received yet another DUII, in addition the old one came back to haunt me. After interviewing quite a few DUI lawyers a friend recommended Squire. Squire helped me through both of the DUII's, including getting the 2nd one dropped. The fact that I didn't deal with the first DUII for 15 years the state wanted to really throw the book at me (understandable). One would think the OSP would of trashed all of my records after 15 years and the officer would of retired. They had everything as if it happened yesterday and the officer was still employed by OSP they even had the VCR dash cam tape! Squire was able to get me less than 1 day in a holding cell, min fines along with some type of "absconding" charge dropped. During this whole process Squire kept me and my family in the loop returning email's and calls promptly.
