As soon as I was approached by the government I was terrified. Right away I got into contact with his Firm and Hired Jeff. He’s been a blessing through this 7 year process. In the beginning I was looking at a very scary sentencing, but with all the work he has done over the many years on the case weare coming to a much better situation than 7 years ago. I’m confident in his abilities and can trust to leave everything in his hands. He’s answered all my questions at all hours of the day. He keeps everything blunt and honest and that’s exactly what you need when entering such a situation. He’s helped me keep a cool head during the scary parts. I’m extremely happy with Jeff’s work. I would recommend him to anyone dealing with anything from minor to SEVERE issues. He will be there for you and guide you through the fires of whatever situation you are in.

Mr. Turnoy is easily one of the best attorneys available for criminal defense. My situation was unique, and caused me a great deal of anxiety. My charges were juvenile, but they came back into light decades later. I felt like my life had been turned upside down, and was looking at a more complicatedfuture. Jeff did an excellent job on our son’s DV case. As soon as he was assigned, things started moving very quickly with visible results in just a few hours. He negotiated with the DDA to make a diversion program available preventing the long term stigma associated with the particular charges on hisrecord. Until his involvement, this option wasn’t available. His communication was professional, compassionate, and sharp. His appearance and demeanor were also polished. I believe both factors help provide tangible results. I can’t recommend him strongly enough.

I can't say enough about the hard work of Jeff Turnoy and Cogan law office. They started out on a relief matter to get me off of the registry that turned into a criminal case that went thankfully nowhere. I had a ex girlfriend determined to ruin my reputation and put me behind bars for many years with false accusations. I thought Im screwed do to the fact I was on the registry already for a petty case when I was a minor that had sex with a couple high school girlfriends. Knowing how vicious the system was back then it scared me to death. Jeff Turnoy and his team stayed the whole course working hard on my behalf with Zero charges were ever filed by the DA. She slipped up and made mistakes and thankfully Jeff showed the DA how this woman was horrible and lieing and determined to get me. I'm now thankfully over this case and getting back on with my life. This was one of the most horrible times in my life but Jeff stayed the course. I would highly recommend this firm especially when it comes to your freedom.

I reached out to Jeff when I was seeking relief from SO registration. The process is very complicated (on purpose) and time intensive. I cannot imagine attempting to track down all of the pieces of the puzzle that are needed to be tracked down from all of the different entities and then putting together a package that could /would be rejected if there was something not presented the way the appeal board wants to see it! Jeff was always accessible, professional, and treated me like a person who made a mistake, who did their time, and who is ready to move on with their life. If you have the SO designation or you have someone in your life who does, you know that this is the exception and not the rule. I was granted relief from SO designation and now feel like less of an outcast. A sense of "relief" is the right word and I have Jeff and his staff to thank for that!
