Jack is a thoughtful, thorough, knowledgeable, excellent attorney who has helped me to successfully navigate complicated custody and financial lawsuits. My ex threw us a lot of curve balls and used some unusual tactics, but Jack was one step ahead of him the entire time. Jack was a good listener and was responsive to communications. I feel really grateful to have worked with Jack and his team. I highly recommend Jack Dekovich.

Jack helped me with a complicated divorce case a few years ago. As with all divorce cases, there are lots of emotions and complications on top of financial complexities. But I knew as soon as I did my initial interview with Jack that he was going to be my guy, and that it was going to be okay. He ended up going above and beyond in a variety of ways. It was a long process, but if I had to do it all over again, I would pick Jack again to represent me without question.

Jack was personable and professional from day one. He guided me through the process of gaining full custody of my kids who were being abused by their mother while simultaneously renegotiating the original divorce decree. He responded to every email and call within twenty four hours. Jack offered answers at every turn and his representation of his clients is second to none. His paralegal Terra may as well be a second attorney. Amazing service and a supportive attitude. Bottom line is if you have kids and need real representation and results you need to contact Jack immediately. Kind, compassionate, understands family, and will absolutely fight for his clients.

Jack is an incredible advocate for his clients. He’s very knowledgeable and experienced and helped advise me through the divorce process with a minor child and custody issues involved. He managed to work with opposing counsel to encourage my prior spouse to go through mediation to avoid the headache and cost of trial. I was in a bind in a divorce matter, and never having hired a lawyer before, did what any child of the internet era would - I went to Google. It was fate (and a little bit of luck) that put me in touch with the McKinley Irvin firm. Jack was recommended to me. I liked that I could look him up on the firm's website to see his face and read a little bit about him. From his profile, I thought the firm's recommendation was spot on. I think most people would be a bit nervous when they visit a lawyer for the first time. I certainly was. The office was beautiful, and I might have been intimidated, except that everyone was so very friendly and welcoming! When Jack and I met, my impression was of a sharp young lawyer, but with an engaging way that immediately put me at my ease. It was clear he had spent time familiarizing himself with what I had provided online about my case, so we did not have to take up any of the precious first consultation hour on that topic, and could move right into Q & A and problem solving. He was quick and efficient with his questions without making me feel rushed and made me feel like he cared about doing the right thing for me. After we exchanged questions and answers, it was clear he had some ideas in mind. We moved forward with a plan that ultimately yielded excellent results. Jack was on my case that very afternoon, with documents prepared and sent the next day (would have been the same day if I'd been as swift as he was!). At every step, I felt informed and cared about. Jack responded to my emails within a day (sometimes within hours!), and was always ready with an easy to understand answer to my questions. His staff was equally responsive and helpful.
