I became acquainted with Chris Roy when I needed help with a disability claim that had been approved and then denied. In searching for an attorney, I found that attorneys that understand private disability claims are few and far between. I actually contacted an attorney with who I am personal friends and the closest legal firm that he could suggest was in Seattle, Washington. I have found Chris very down to earth but also very knowledgeable in this type of law. My case is against an insurance company that held the long-term disability for employees where I worked. He has succeeded in winning the first stage of my case and is currently working on the next stage. He knows the law and quotes it to the denying insurance company and then combs through their reasonings and formulates a plan for me to follow. He has taken a great deal of the burden of providing information by being organized and thorough. My wife and I recently completed the immigration process for Visa K with the Jeffrey Gonzales immigration team and felt strongly compelled to write a review because of the excellent experience we had. I am from Mexico and entered the US illegally in the '90s. I had been working on trying to fix my situation ever since we were married 8 yrs ago, but every lawyer we met with in Minnesota advised us not to do it because the odds of us being approved were so low. It was extremely frustrating and stressful to live with the day to day issues caused by my undocumented status, so we were determined to find a solution. Some friends of ours in Oregon recommended Jeffrey Gonzales team as the best immigration lawyers in the country so we went out there to meet with them. We quickly saw why! They immediately put us at ease, telling us our case was good and describing their high success rate with cases like ours. They seemed very in touch with exactly what was happening in US immigration, as well as on the Mexican side of the border. We signed up right away to work with them and never looked back. Over the 2 yrs it took to resolve our case, we were in constant contact over phone and email. We never had any issues with paperwork or questions working remotely from Minnesota. There were several lawyers that worked on our case (Sam Hayden, Jonathan Gonzales and Jeri Gonzales) and they all were pleasant to work with, well informed and diligent about making sure everything was done correctly. When it came time for me to travel to Mexico for his final interview, Jeri took time to thoroughly prepare us for every appointment, answering every question we had and preparing all of our packets with clear directions. She recommended hotels, places to eat, safe transportation options and even how to avoid scam artists. I completed my trip quickly and with very few issues, thanks to Jeri's careful preparation. We cannot express how happy we are with the outcome of our situation and we are confident that Jeffrey Gonzales and his team are what made this possible and kept our family together. We highly recommend them - five stars - they are worth every penny!!

I have had an amazin experience with this firm. My husband and I were and are still very content with the service and help received by Jeffrey, Jonathan, Sam, Brad and Jeri. We worked with all of them and every single one was just amazing. They over prepare you for anything and use every single resource that can be used to help your case. Because of the death of a business associate who owed me a great deal of money at the time of his death, it became necessary for me to file a lawsuit against his estate to collect the remaining money on a contract. The first attorney I used wasted time and resources and accomplished nothing; she, with no prior notice to me, left the firm. My file was given to Chris Roy. Having been "burned" by the first attorney who made absolutely no progress in several months, I was hesitant to continue with someone at the same firm. I wisely decided to at least talk to him. Mr. Roy looked over the file and was quite disturbed it had so little done on it and expressed it should have already been settled. My decision to employ him to continue was an excellent decision. He "got things moving" immediately and stayed on task though the opposing attorney kept trying to introduce irrelevant distractions. His constant response to the other attorney's distractions was "this is a contract, she provided services, she has not been paid in full for those services" and kept it to what the lawsuit was about - a contract for professional services which had not been paid in full. Chris Roy kept everything on track, performed efficiently, kept me well informed, and the suit was settled in a timely manner. He did this all after being given a file that had been terribly mishandled. From the day he took it over, it moved smoothly and very professionally. I was delighted to find he went into private practice "on his own." My experience with him was so good that I hired him when I had another legal matter to address concerning my mother's property foreclosure and her mortgage company trying to include me in the process even though I had absolutely no interest or responsibility in her business matters. Again, Mr. Roy handled it professionally and expediently. I highly recommend him to anyone who has need of an attorney. If your case is not one that he feels not to be the best attorny for you, he will refer you to someone who is. My first step for any legal need will always be to contact Mr. Roy! I, like many, am distrustful of attorneys in general, but I have total confidence in Chris Roy and have found him trustworthy, professional and skillful.

I have nothing but the best to say about the people that work at the law offices of Jeffrey Gonzales. My husband and I met with 3 or 4 different lawyers before deciding to hire this firm for my husband's immigration case a year and half ago. Jeri and JJ are both great and accessible, as is all of their support staff. My husband had his immigration interview/physical in Ciudad Juarez one year ago. He was then in Mexico for 7 months during the waiver process (we were told it would probably be 3-4 months). And now he is here and a permanent resident! While it is entirely possible to go through the whole process without a lawyer I would highly recommend hiring someone with the experience and expertise that this law office brings. The cost is daunting, but well worth it. Until our broken system starts to resemble something related to justice and dignity, this is your best option...

After trying to apply by my self I found it was more difficult than I thought! All the lawyers in the office are professional in what they do. You pay gold but you get back diamonds! I god my green card in 4 months and their service is great because they keep track on you til your case is over. They take good care of you and your stuff. I will go with them when applying for my citizenship in a few years and I know they'll call me when the time comes, that is the kind of service you get when you go with them! I highly recommend Jeffrey's work!
