Mr. Viteznik was accurate in the outcome and amounts of a settlement. Knew how to navigate the legal roadblocks and was persistent in getting the job done. Very happy that I was referred to him and his firm.

Mr. Muth and other representatives of Kilmer Voorhees & Laurick, PC: please accept my apology for the false review posted under my name. To be clear, I did not write this review, nor have I ever been a client of Mr. Muth's or this firm. Mr. Muth and I serve as co-council persons and are the target of a malicious intent to discredit our character. Peter V. is a very experienced, skillful attorney. He quickly understood our home construction issues and explained how the entire processes will probably occur. He successfully negotiated a settlement, which covered our repair costs, for a quite reasonable fee.

Pete handled a construction defect case on my behalf. A recently purchased home required nearly $400,000 in repairs. I hired Viteznik to recoup my repair costs from the builder and seller of the home. The builder/seller knew, and chose not to disclose, the known construction deficiencies that led to multiple water penetration issues.
In my opinion, Peter J Viteznik's overconfidence, lack of preparation, and personal life distractions resulted in my case being dismissed on summary judgment. Viteznik didn't even bother to tell me that there was a summary judgment hearing. To make matters worse, I learned later, at a hearing for the motion for reconsideration, that because of a "personal conflict" Viteznik didn't even show up for the MSJ hearing and instead sent a junior associate, with little to no knowledge or expertise relating to my case, to the MSJ hearing. Court records confirm Viteznik's absence at the MSJ hearing.
After the case was lost, I asked Viteznik, his current firm of Kilmer, Voorhees & Laurick, P.C., and his formal firm of Bullivant, Houser, and Bailey, PC to fund my appeal and they declined. It is one thing to make a mistake in life and quite another to deny it.
Thankfully, I found two lawyers in Seattle that took the case to the appellate court and received a full reversal on ALL FIVE ARGUMENTS. In the end, the value of my valid claim was eroded because of the large amount of time that had elapsed between the original filing, appellate reversal, and settlement conference.
Viteznik made money on my good case and I lost close to $600,000 (including legal fees).

I do not recommend this lawyer because he was not knowledgeable and give me very poor advice. He should have not accepted my case, but was interested in billable hours.

Peter Viteznik represented me in a residential real Estate and HOA dispute. Throughout almost a 2- year ordeal and close to $18000 in expenses, I was sorely disappointed with his communication with me, attendance to details, and the lack of legal knowledge. The only reason I could not get out earlier was that I had already invested quite a bit in his representation. A huge and expensive mistake, especially when I had to start paying the opposition's lawyers too.
