I was very nervous walking into my first meeting with Brett Callahan to seek legal advice for a very stressful family situation, however, it only took a couple of minutes for me to feel very comfortable discussing my concerns. I highly recommend Darin Dooley and his staff at Nay & Friedenberg. In fact, I have done so verbally on many occasions already, and have shared the webpage with many of my friends. For most people who don't interact with the legal system, the word "lawyer" can strike fear and anxiety. Darin and his staff's up front, friendly, and transparent manner puts a person at ease at once. It is reassuring to have knowledgeable professionals who guide you through the "System" . I first encountered the firm of Nay & Friedenberg at an AARP Caregiver conference. The information the speaker shared was so important, that I kept the handouts and the business card for when my father, brother and I needed to call on them a few years later. I would recommend others do the same!

We used Garvin Reiter at Nay & Friedenberg last year after we'd finally convinced our elderly parents that they needed to do some estate planning. Garvin was great. He explained our options in a very straightforward way, and was particularly patient with our parents. He was also very upfront about the charges associated with setting up a trust, writing a will, etc. After our visit, he and his staff were very responsive to our followup questions. I'm eager to take this opportunity to praise the firm Nay & Friedenberg here in Portland, Oregon. They are helpful, friendly, professional and meticulously ethical. Our Attorney Darin Dooley and his Paralegal Debbie Kelly worked with us to prepare our father's estate for probate. Darin met with us and explained how to set up our bank accounts before Dad died and what we needed to do and what would be expected of us upon his death. Throughout the process, we've been kept fully informed. Ms. Kelly let us know there would be a flurry of activity at first, then it would seem like noting is happening, since probates take several months to complete. Both Mr. Dooley and Ms. Kelly have made themselves available should we have any questions. We've been praising and recommending Nay & Friedenberg since May and we will continue to do so at every opportunity. Credit should also be given to their excellent website which has a wealth of information.

They did excellent work for my wife and I -- very professional and we were extremely happy and satisfied.

I was with GLP attorneys on my auto accident injury case for 4 years, and in that time 5 attorneys came and went that were on my case in the firm. They all had quit. Shaun Huppert was assigned to my case right before settling, and had no knowledge of my case or anything i had been through. In the end I settled for significantly less than my case was worth because he pushed me to. After all was said and done I found out that me $7,000 hospital bill from the date of the accident had not been taken care of. Because i already settled before I realized this I was left to pay the bill on my own with no help from anyone at the firm. Shaun would also tell the doctors I had seen that he could not contact me when he never tried to. One of the doctors contacted me and told me his excuse for not working on my case. Me and the doctor both fought to get responses out of him throughout the whole process. Horrible experience on all ends of business.

There simply aren't words to express how grateful I am to Meghan Fuhrer for her excellent professional and compassionate help when our friend called us in dire need of end life legal counsel. She was up at the hospital that very day implementing a will and a trust and saving so many from what would have been a very bad situation. Brett Callahan was friendly , professional and it was a breeze to work with him. He addressed our legal questions without adding complexity and was direct with his answers. The Law Offices of Nay & Friedenberg are friendly and in a great location.

I just received a letter from a very arrogant young man named Brett Callahan from this office. He has apparently been appointed as my families new Personal Representative for my late father's estate. Not a terribly good start for this firm. It would appear that he just passed the bar exam last week and scrounging around the courthouse looking for court appointed work. Looks like I need a lawyer to stop this hack from selling our families property to line his pockets.
